“Changing the name to Yodel doesn't change terrible service”

However, even when ordered for 'next day delivery' - particularly when that day is a Saturday - HDNL take it upon themselves to reinterpret that promise as 'when we can be bothered'. No stars at all for this so-called Courier- this is not the first time they have not delivered on time.I ordered an item from Amazon paying alot extra for next day delivery - but the item did not arrive. Upon speaking to HDNL I was informed that the item was received into their depot too late to go on their delivery truck for that day ( the item was scanned in to their depot at 4.48am). We have also had previous items simply disappear once they get to HDNL.

Have had the same problem with their Exeter depot. When I phoned them regarding this latest delivery, I was told it was received too late into their depot (4.48am) to go on the van for delivery the same day.
Have also been told ( regarding previous orders) that "Yes, they are out for delivery". only to find the item/s go missing. Have also been told that the driver has "attempted delivery but no-one was in", when we were here all day. What a bunch of losers this company is.
