left a non-delivery card, got back from holiday, rang them told they delivered it to me (strange as I was away)and it was signed for. won't give proof of signature, won't sort it out, won't help me at all.

No Saturday delivery. No local depot to collect parcels from. Huge queue and rude staff at depot. Even though I'd driven over 20 miles to collect my parcel they turned me away because I hadn't rung up beforehand to arrange collection from depot. Apparently whilst my parcel was there, it was amongst 6,000 other parcels! Do they have no organisation whatsoever?Bring back Royal Mail!!

Ordered package of books from amazon on monday, delivery due for thursday (nothing shows) by saturday i decided to track package on amazon website. Website advised package was delivered to me on thursday.

Tracked package on HDNL website. this advised it was delivered to me and left in secure place outside my house.
The only thing outside my house is a small bush against the front wall - and yes it was tucked behind there and soaked through from the rain. HDNL never even left a note to tell ...

Impossible to get through on phone - waited over 20 minutes! Finally managed to call on the website number. Dont understand why Amazon use this company - they refused to give me the name of a manager or put me through. Waited all day - not one call from them to let me know! Took day off work and now will have to take another day off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

It would help enormously if you were to deliver to the correct house Having phoned to arrange a new date for delivery it will not work if delivery is attemted at 31 instead of 30 Dukehaugh, Peebles. next time. My neighbours are out all day, whereas I am normally at home, being retired

i have just been reading all your reviews and find them quite funny. you go on about the delivery times saying there not suitable because you work so why order a parcel in the first place , i dont understand why you would order a parcel if your not going to be home, just go the shop and buy it or do you expect delivary companys to work 24 hours a day , i think you should all get real. what also makes me laff is when u say you took the day off work to wait in for parcel but missed delivery that y ...

Ordered via Amazon. Amazon estimated the parcel would arrive Thursday, HDNL delivered Wednesday. Tracking service kept me informed throughout.

Just awful... I understand why companies like ASOS and Amazon.co.uk use them sometimes- it must be the CHEAPEST option.

They are laaazy. They buzzed for 4-5 seconds, and being 8 months pregnant and living in a two bedroom flat it took me a while to get out of the sofa, however not more than 20 seconds- and they left!!!

Did not leave a card or call me at all. Had to call to arrange redelivery and am now waiting for it, they deliver from 7am-7pm... it's 18:48 and they just came.

    One wo ...

After helping a friend without Internet access order a laptop from Amazon, I was fearful when I subsequently realised it was to be delivered by HDNL and I saw the widespread awful reviews they have. However, in this case the delivery could not have been better. The tracking system correctly showed progress and the parcel was delivered at the first attempt today, ahead of Amazon's original estimated delivery date. Not 10 minutes after the parcel had been delivered, I saw this recorded via Amazon ...

Most reviewers have had bad experiences with HDNL, so here's a good one. Ordered a kettle from Amazon and was given a tracking link which worked without having to enter any numbers etc - excellent. Package marked as out for delivery at 07:30 today, we are some 15 miles from the depot. Delivered late morning, no fuss. Our house has a name, not number, so sometimes delivery drivers don't find it particularly as the satnav postcode point is 300 metres up the street from us. This driver did find us, ...

On arriving home last night a delivery note had been posted through my letter box by Home Delivery Network stating that they had called and no one was available. No one in the house had ordered any mail delivery which meant that it had obviously been delivered to the wrong address. The detail on the card only had the delivery date, reference number and contact number. I did not contain any details of the intended recipient or the supplier. To try and resolve matters I rang the contact number. Th ...

HDNL were unable to deliver to a company address because they relied solely on satnav and weren't prepared to phone when they got lost.

I have requested from Amazon in the past that I do not want parcels delivering by HDNL but this one slipped through.

My husband ordered a wireless router from our internet service provider, who said it would be with us within about 10 days. A couple of days later, we found a Home Delivery Network card through the door. On checking the HDNL website, we found they do not do any weekend deliveries - Monday to Friday deliveries are impractical for us due to work commitments. We called HDNL and asked for the package to be delivered to a relative's address locally on the following Monday. The following day, a Sa ...

Totally inefficient and thoroughly dishonest. I have now contacted HDNL on FOUR occasions be telephone in an attemp to have an item delivered to a business at Cannock. On the last three occasions promises were made and not kept. On the first occasion I was given incorrect information. HDNL have no strenghts and a multitude of weaknesses. What I really would have liked to know prior to becoming involved with HDNL is that they were a company to avoid at all costs.

About 4th time now I paid for next day delivery , stayed at home to fetch the parcel, and they said no one was there to pick it up... lazy drivers I suppose. Utterly disappointing.

Their tracking application is bogus. I had a package still en route and the HDNL tracker said I'd already signed for it.

    This company is utterly appalling.
I have been waiting a week for my parcel to be delivered to my work address but somehow they are only cappable of sending it to home address!!!
I have asked them 3 times to send to my address and promised each time it would be.......however i'm still waiting for this to happen.
I have never been apoligised to just treated like complete s**t.

DO NOT deal with anyone who used them.

Claimed no acces to my house, which is untrue - right on the road. It's quite a long round trip and this is the standard van driver's excuse for "I'm not going all that way just for one drop". (Not the first time it's happened round here). If we boycott Amazon until they stop using HDNL, maybe we'll get somewhere. Royal Mail provide a better service when when they're on strike!

Ordered an item on amazon on a 3 day delivery - After 5 days I received an e-mail from amazon saying that i should contact HDNL. I phoned them and after 15 minutes on hold was told the delivery driver could not access my flat (I live in student halls) the driver was not able to get through the flat door to deliver to my room, I was inside, unfortunately the driver did not have the sense to ring the bell! I arranged a re-delivery for the following day. Three days later still no package so called ...
