    washing never smelt fresh yet when washed ,also build up of mildew around seal.over all very dissapointed would not recomend this machine to any one .over all it does not do the job it is ment to do

    We have had the machine just over 2 yrs and have the same problem of mildew buildup aroung the seal and in the detergent drawer. Hotpoint helpine have change number and we no go through to INDESIT who have said problem not covered in 5yr parts an labour warranty would have to pay £99 for labour and they would provide free seal - sooo nice of them. They had audacity to blame mildew buildup my use of liquid gel detergents (and liquid tabs) and have said there is nothing that can be done abo ...

    this is my second hotpoint and i should of learnt the first time, its only 7 months old and sound like a train, my first the bearings went at 13 months old,, says it all really, they are not the cheapest on the market and i thought by spending the extra money i would get quality, but no,

    The Hotpoint Ultima WT960 is an excellent machine. Recommend it to any friend looking for machine - a number have bought and are just as thrilled as me.Previous machines (more than one house!) include Hoover (various), AEG, Bosch, LG but this beats them all. Hands down. In all departments.

    Thought it was only me or the products I was using but reading other Hotpoint Ultima WT960 reviews have same problem with mildew in the soap drawer. Also need to spin twice on most programmes, so not very energy efficient. Very disappointed wont be buying Hotpoint again.

    Clothes I wash with the WT960 do not smell fresh when they are taken out. I have switched powders/conditioners. I see no suds when washing/spinning.

    Although the Hotpoint Ultima WT960 washing machine has lots of features, we really are disappointed about the buildup of mildew in the drawer, around the seal - so much so that it has marked our washing on several occasions. However much we clean the drawer, etc it still keeps coming back. Only had the machine about 18 months - not impressed - would go out and buy a different one if we had the money!!

    Ours is silent, quick wash time, stable, reliable. Mould in the power draw. Great Machine all round, hasn't let us down, very trusting machine.

    Our machine will now go to the scrapyard as it is only 18 months old and has been a nightmare from the day it was bought.
    we will never purchase Hotpoint again.
