this LG VKC902HT is OK at first but then over heated and started to cut out. Head will not pick up any fluff at all! Waste of time.
The only good bit is the little tune it plays as you switch it on!!!

absolute rubbish. I had my LG VKC902HT machine for just over a year in which time it was very average especially at picking up dog hair or bits of fluff. Then it started over heating and blowing the fuse after only a few minutes use. I tried everything I could think of to fix problem (cleaned filters ect) but this only made problem worse. There are loads of better products out there for less money.

3 weeks after I bought the LG VKC902HT, dirt and dust clogged up the 'mechanism' of the floor tool - basically internal dirt in the mechanism meant the turbo part of the brush wouldn't turn. It needed more than a clean from me - to do it properly the brush needed to be dismantled. I took it back to the shop, they cleaned it but again the mechanism snarled up repeatedly, meaning nothing was sucked up by the cleaner. The suction was still powerful but because the brush blocked the airway by not t ...

I had my LG VKC902HT for over a year and was really happy with it at first but the rotating head part (which you pay extra for) doesnt work and its really heavy to take around especially upstairs. After a year I was offered insurance by Domestic and General which I took out and I am so glad, the vacuum started overheating and cutting out after only using if for a short time. Domestic and General sent it for repair but after being gone for 6 weeks and then again for another 2 weeks Domestic and ...

I was quite impressed with this vacuum cleaner for about 3 weeks until the wheels fell off the floor tool. Rang LG and they said take it back to the store where you got it from for a replacement. So i did and 5 weeks later the same thing happened. Spoke to LG again and they said the floor tool is not covered by the warranty. So i have a vacuum cleaner that has a rubbish floor tool and a stupid connection on it so you cant use another brand of floor tool.

This LG VKC902HT is the best vacuum cleaner i have ever had, good value for money, compact, stylishly designed, durable and robust. It doesn't loose suction apart from when it needs emptying or the filters cleaning and all those bits are totally washable too. The floor head is also surrounded in a rubber material and doesn't scuff the skirting boards like most others do. It also picks up cat and dog hair with ease.

This LG vacuum cleaner is easy to empty and fine for hard floors but useless on carpets. The cleaning head judders over the carpet and misses most of it. I end up on my hands and knees using the nozzle. Wrote to the manufacturers who suggested pressing the carpet switch. Doh! Did they think I hadn't tried everything?

The LG VKC902HT is a very good, extremely well-designed machine. It comes at a reasonable price, so much better value than the Dyson for instance. It also has much better design features, for instance there are resting points for the hose and cleaner head when in the middle of cleaning and another one on the base for when it is in storage position. It stores on one end to reduce space. It has attachment heads one of which doubles as a brush head and an upholstery head, by the use of a simple swi ...
