No issues at all. Had it 18 months. USe it around 3-4 times a week, dries all clothes we put in it perfectly. All I have to do is remember to empty the filter and water container. We have it placed in the garage but it does not seem particularly noisy at all. The first one I've owned and happy to have this model. Well done Beko! (read more)

I have now had two of these tumble driers, both have lost their ability to dry the clothes. the first one was under warranty, the second was a replacement that has now stopped working after 1 year 20 days so out of warranty, when I phoned BEKO they stated out of warranty we dont do good will gestures. My beco has done approx. 18 months work and the heaters have expired. Argos refuse to replace, so in future I will never use Argos again and previous to this I was a loyal customer, and never buy Beco either. Mr A from Suffolk. (read more)

Bought this based on a budget - ran well for 6 - 12 months and has not ran properly since. Changed heaters ut to no avail. Machine will take an eternity to dry a full load. Has to be continually started so it will take days to get clothes to a nearly dry state. If left alone (not used for a week or more) it will dry the next load in one cycle but no more. I've tried to find out online about the problems and it is full of complaints about this machine. Problem is with the circuitry as far as... (read more)

overall this is the best dryer i have had, i have hd no trouble with it in three and a half years. only just recentley it stopped heating so we looked on some forums to find out if we could repair it ourselves, and sure enough we could, we bought a new heater unit and once again its working fine. Now after running this BEKO condensing tumble dryer for a year, I think that people should know how bad this machine is. We are now onto a second heating element and the vibration and noise is terrible. These work really well for first 6 months and did a good job, but part are of poor quality and machine is just a total waste of money. (read more)

This was bought to replace a much more expensive Hoover Vision which was basically total and utter rubbish. We took a gamble with Beko as I thought it would be a badly designed cheap machine....how wrong I was. The water collection is great and nicely designed to be at the top so no more bending over grovelling about on the floor, the filter likewise, both are really easy to empty. It is compact compared to others on the market,it has a three sensor programmes as well as a timer all work... My partner purchased this product on line 6 months ago (somehow it had good reviews???) From day one the power would cut out but I thought i must be over loading it or one of the filters needed emptying. Despite all my efforts of following instructions to the T, the power cut outs happen more and more until now it doesnt really work at all. I am dreading my electric bill! The machine just seems to bake inside but not dry the clothes. I forever wiping away damp fluff from under the filter... (read more)

We replaced a Bosch 10 year old vented dryer with a condenser as the pipe had always been a problem when pushing back against the wall. The Beco was a lot better value than the Bosch. A 6kg drum holds more than a full washer load, and the large square door ( looks good) provides easy access. We are very pleased with the drying of the dryer but sometimes on the ready to iron, have to put the clothes back in for a while. The drawer which holds the water is placed well at the top of... This tumble dryer is still going strong after 4 years of HEAVY family use (1-2 loads PER DAY). All you have to do is make sure you maintain it - clean the condenser once a month or every 3 weeks (takes 1 minute, maybe less) and it runs like clockwork. Recently it tripped the RCD but it was easy to diagnose that the element needed changing (simply unscrew the back, unplug the element and see that it no longer tripped the RCD). I ordered a new element on ebay for £35, which arrived next day,... (read more)

I would not recommend anyone purchase this product. Finally, after 3 years ours has thankfully given up the ghost (now we have an excuse to buy another brand/model). Basically, the dryer takes so long even to dry the smallest amount of washing, it costs a fortune to use. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for and this dryer is no exception. Really really bad, don't buy it. (read more)

What really angers me is a normal company would make an effort to recognise a design fault and trading standards should be dealing with them. Thank god i did not buy one of their killer fridges but as you can see the amount of reviews with the same problem shows this company is shirking their responsibilities. This is a large company so why does it not fear these bad reviews. I have owned this tumble dryer for eighteen months of which it has been in and out of action for all of that time.... (read more)

3 new belts in first 9 months, heater burnt out when just out of warranty, now the drum itself has broken (stength of metal used in drum is similar to that used in beer cans. Previous tumble dryer lasted 25 years. Would not recommend this to my worst enemy. Appalling product! (read more)

This is the worst product i have ever purchased. It takes 3 hrs to dry anything properly and then would still put in the airing cupboard for a while longer. very expensive to run and the lights to indicate cycle do not light up.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS..
DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR MOTHER BECAUSE SHE WILL MOAN..
N.B I had to give a star to complete review, otherwise i would have given it no stars

This product has never worked properly since we bought it. The heater element is not man-enough for the size of the machine. Ours in fact has just packed in all together. The laundry always came out damp even after having had the machine on for over an hour. I would therefore suggest that if you want a Dryer that will actually dry your laundry you choose another manufacturer. The cost of the Dryer Element is £ 42:98. I will let you know how long this one lasts. (read more)

Less than 2 years of not very heavy usage and looks like the belt has gone. Everything working except the drum doesn't actually rotate. If it's not the belt then it's going to be really expensive to fix. Customer service even suggested I might have to get a new machine! Every other tumble dryer I've ever owned has still been able to rotate at least after 25 years!! If this had been built to last it would be a great machine but less than 2 years is just laughable. I bought this dryer 2 weeks ago the 2nd day i had it the belt went on it,even before the belt went it took near enough all day to dry the towels i put in (and no i never over loaded it ),instead of putting a daft wee tune in it they should have left the sensor off it as every 2 mins it was playing a tune to say it was finished, took it back to comet they were ok got a replacment now thats another story..... First one had to be replaced after one day due to noisy bearing
Second one lasted until just out of Warranty, the induction motor expired (cost £75 4 weeks delivery) + heater element went for a burton (£40 1 week delivery)
At 2years old heater went again plus now warning light blinking, drum turning but wont run on any of programmes.
BEKo want £80 cal out charge. I think this heading for one last try then it's the tip. Wont have another thank you

Ordered this Beko DRCS68W tumble dryer after much consideration & after reading some of the reviews here cannot believe this is the same machine! I am absolutely thrilled with it, it's easy to use, it does the job and it was the right price. I have followed the instructions and emptied the water and fluff filter after each cycle - hardly difficult, but the one thing I haven't done is stuff it so full of clothes that it has no chance of drying them! So, yes I would recommend it with no... (read more)

The Beko DRCS68W is selling as a reverse dryer when actually reverses for about 10 seconds every 10 mins or so.Hardly any heat.Doesn't dry anything in less than four hours, especially sheets and towels.Have had only approx 1 kilo of washing in there and it still takes four hours! I am considering complaining to the appropriate council and contacting watchdog. Something needs to be done and I want my money back! (read more)

I think this Beko tumble dryer is fantastic for the price and is a good rival to other over priced well known makes. Yes the sensor isn't great but having read lots of reviews I don't think many of the drying sensors work that well on any machine. I had a normal tumble dryer before with a timer and used to just put it on the maximum time which was about an hour and a half, at least with this sensor it restricts how long the machine is on for (i.e. not when clothes are already dry) which is... I am very disappointed with the length of time the Beko DRCS68W takes to dry clothes as I was very impressed with it's build quality.
I am afraid after 2 days of trying to live with it, it is going back.
