I didn't choose them but the place I bought my watch from did. I have read all the bad reviews and I don't understand it. I have never needed to speak to them and they don't ever need to speak to me. So they take their money every month and my debt goes down and thats it. I never miss a payment or give them reason to bother me. I will also add they dont try to cross sell products or send annoying texts or e mail offers.All in all I think they are the best loan company I've ever... (read more)

extremely rude, staff will shout at you, they dont listen, they dont help, they just want there money back straight away, never deal with them. they wont deal with you over phone and instead send someone to your house! (read more)

I've been with hitatchi financial for roughly 6 months now & every single month I've had to phone them up with a querie or a problem, when you do phone then up there staff are cockey & rude!! I can't believe I've got 5 years of this head ache with these people but I will be counting the payments & will be having a huge celebratory drink when I make my final payment!! Go with this company if you like aggro but if you don't stay away!! These are jokes!!! (read more)

“AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE !”

They constantly contradict themselves, make false statements, dont call back most of the time, drag things out by sending paper letters that take a week, and their web site shows only a limited amount of info forcing you to call them on the telephone. We finally agreed to settle for the sake of our health. We were recommended to use them by BettaLiving in order to get a discount on their overall price. If you come across the name of Hitachi Finance AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH. (read more)

applied for a loan,all good,all the checks were good,waited and presumed the loan had been granted,4 weeks later bank statement arrived no loan.didnt have any correspondance tried calling,emails no replies,hitachi capital uk-big name-big joke.please dont bother with them. (read more)

I took out insurance against redundancy and just as I need to make a claim, they issue me with a letter to say they are stopping trading in the UK. What is the point of these insurancses if they can back out when you need them most. What an absolute waste of money. (read more)

I asked for a settlement figure of my outstanding loan with Hitachi Capital UK and paid this off only for them to call me back after the weekend requesting a further payment due to a clerical error!
