I paid an insurance to cover the goods that I shipped to France, unfortunately, a third of the goods were damaged (probably that the pallet fell down to the floor)< parcel2ship are messing around with the papers to provide in order to avoid paying for the damage...a real shame

Complete bunch of muppets. Web site had a 'glitch' for 2 weeks which they couldn't fix. How can an ecommerce company have a 'glitch' for 2 weeks? I have used them in the past and they were ok but they now seem to have gone downhill. I would suggest using one of the professional companies such as Parcel2go

“PACKAGE TO ITALY”

package collected 4th March for delivery to customer in Italy. On 24th customer mails to say package has not arrived. eventually get it deliverd on 26th March. Claim address not found, why can they not phone - Mail to say they have a problem

“DELIVERY FROM THE UK TO RUSSIA BY PARCELFORCE”

The info on website was reassuring that the delivery to Russia will take 4-5 days. In the end the recipient got the parcel 3 weeks later. The price is too high for such level of service.

“Cheap but expensive if things go wrong”

Cheaper than booking direct with carriers but if there is a problem the costs escalate and charges become much higher!I recently sent an item sold on ebay via this service, unfortunately the buyer supplied a previous address, It cost £18 to change the delivery address nearly twice as much as the original posting cost. Return and reposting was not an option! Beware if parcels are returned they go to Parcel2ship and they then charge £18 to send it back to the sender. I WILL NOT BE USING THIS SERVICE AGAIN

“Terrible service to Russia”

Two parcels collected in UK on 26th October for delivery to Moscow on 31st October. 13th November, one parcel was delivered. 19th November, second parcel still not delivered. I understand that Russia presents some problems for companies yet this is ridiculous and the only advice or assistance offered to help me find my parcel is to call the local delivery office in Moscow.

“Toilet arrive smashed to bits”

I was returning a toilet and cistern to Coventry from London using Parcel2ship. The item was bubble wrapped carefully and sealed in a heavy cardboard box (the box in which it was delivered). I have now just received images of it from Bath Empire. It has literally been smashed to pieces. It's like someone has taken a hammer to it. The guy who picked it up did warn me that the different guys who handle the items just chuck them about. Stupidly I thought as it was so well wrapped this would not be an issue. I've lost £170 for the item because obviously it cannot be refunded and I had to pay £60 for that delivery!!!! Ridiculous. As it was a 40kg item, both Parcelforce and DHL would not take it. My advice is not to purchase anything online over 30kg as you have to rely on dodgy third parties like Parcel2ship to return them.

Reply from Parcel2ship, We clearly state on our website that our services are not suitable for sending toilets. The customers choose to ignore this and sent the item anyway. I think rather a cardboard box is rather flimsy to hold a toilet and cistern, unless it is as sturdy as a crate! I think it may not be completely Parcel2Ship's fault because you did not seem to have packed your item properly. You need to put more padding all around, not just bubble wrap, because delivery pepole DO throw boxes around. It is quite common, even for "fragile" items.

“One damaged, one not delivered.”

Of my two seperate parcels neither was satisfactory. For the first no note was left for non delivery and then the package was damaged. For the second no note and eventually the parcel was returned to me. Telephone contact with City Link is abysmal. Parcel2ship do their end of the contract but are severly let down by City Link.

“Fill in every form or get charged more money”

Shipping from the UK to Japan. A Parcel through Parcel2Ship, using the courier ParcelForce. Booked in late at night and courier arrived in the morning and all documents were not completed, labels not attached, etc. The Parcelforce guy said no problem, just re-book it in for the next day. Called up Parcel2Ship and they insisted on a £10+VAT, so £12 additional charge to re-book it. They claimed this charge was from ParcelForce. I called up ParcelForce and they said they have no problem re-booking for free for the next day if it was direct with them, but as it isn't I had to go through Parcel2Ship. Went back to Parcel2Ship with this info and the guy on the phone just seemed not to care at all and had an "it is what it is" attitude and either pay it or cancel the order - and guess what, there's a £10+VAT charge for cancelling as well! SO, if you use them, either have every form - all 4 of them - that they require printed out and filled in (very accurately filled in I must add), PLUS all the labels printed off and attached. Or, just don't use them and take it to the Post Office for not much more cost, lots less hassle and better service.

“Shipping belongings home to Canada after Uni”

It has been 3weeks and over 15 emails item has not yet been picked up and now unanswered emails for 4 days. Forms required use jargon which is not explained and when all documents required are requested they are never provided in a single email. The worst experience I have ever had in shipping between countries. No way to access customer service online and 4 copies of a form is simply ridiculous when the information is repeated on every type of form. Bottom line I am responsible for customs clearance of my items and I will be charged duty if required. This is robbery three weeks to get pick up but the overpriced charge of 159£, well that was debited immediately.

Do not use this company they failed a collection when rung day after said they reboooked it. They did not. If i had not contacted courier company direct it would still be here waiting for collection. rubish service by rubbish company.

I have sed p2S man imes nd tosame area in Fancefrom UK service has alas b good smeimesescellent nd on occasion slihtly les than exected however always acceptable. Als on this aest deliery it took 9 days and 8 phone call to effect the delivery with por communicationfrom P2S and repeate unactioned instructions. In all a very disappointed loyal customer on this occasion a embarrassing as his was a recommedation to a friend ( I willbe seekngsme recompense in due course

I booked City link courier through Parcel2ship. They made me wait 2 full days from 9am - 5.30 and never came to collect the parcels. I tried to contact them both on phone and via life chat... but useless, all they could say is they cannot contact the driver and DO NO GUARANTEE that the parcels will be collected as scheduled. They ruined my shipping plan, as I really need the parcels to be delivered on time... The service is totally unstrusted, it's too frustrating Not recommend at all

Booked a pickup from a customer's location. Specified that it needed to be before 9AM or after 4.30 PM. Courier arrived at 4PM... nobody there. Couldn't get through on the phone, left email messages, all ignored. Finally got through to someone today who told me I couldn't specify a time. No pickup, won't re-collect, lost my money and I still am no closer to getting the parcel. Total waste of time & money.

This company refused to cover my parcel from loss, despite advertising they would on their website. They then would only cancel my order, subject to a £10+VAT charge. Save yourself a lot of hassle and use someone else.

“Shocking Service and Shocking Attitude - Avoid!”

Ordered a small parcel to be collected from Glasgow and delivered next day to Brighton, via City Link. The wrong parcel turned up. OK, mistakes happen, but this thing was ten times the size and weight of my parcel. I then spent hour after hour trying to speak to City Link about getting my parcel and getting the other one taken away. When I tried to get some advice from Parcel2ship they all but washed their hands of it. As far as they were concerned, a parcel was delivered and that was that. It didn't matter if it wasn't the right one. OK, so the wrong parcel turning up wasn't their fault but their attitude when I spoke to them on and tried to sort it out was appalling. They were simply not interested. I will NEVER use this company again and I urge others to follow suit.

absolutely useless service, requested delivery to france, then tried to track the order which proved impossible - not only parcel2ship hadn't known who the package was with in france, they also were useless in providing tracking referrence. I ended up with 11 ( YES 11!!!) different numbers , and names of 2 companies with whom my package was supposed to have been and guess what - nobody knows where it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! trying to call customer service in uk is a waste of time as well , so don't bother, moreover their system says they tried to deliver even though i was at home all day and my phone certainly works!! conclusion - they didn't bother to get up 6 floors with the 30 kg package... now i ended up having to wait until monday ( its friday today), and hopefully by then i will at least know where my package is.. After that of course i have to do a trip to their depo in the opposite part of paris, and will probably have to order a taxi as i weigh not much more than a package!! to summarise - lots of hassle, poor customer service, no information, no option to track the order and no delivery!! stay away from them!!

I have been waiting for almost 90 days for my lost package to be refunded. The value that they PARCEL2SHIP have offered does not cover the value of the items on the invoice. They try to put you into a corner with their claims system so that you will accept the minimum and are really slack when a parcel is either damaged or lost...... (I'm not joking they are really slack) and the firms like DHL and DPD will not talk to you unless you are the firm that paid for the delivery! I have had to file a money claim against them www.moneyclaim.gov.uk to receive the true value of my delivery and the items that were lost. Would never use ever again! Christopher
