I have used this service many times now to send large parcels to my daughter in France. It is very easy to book online and the email with the printable labels comes back promptly. I take the parcels to Swansea because it is convenient for me, I haven't used the free collection service. Parcels arrive in France within a very few days and the boxes (so far) have never been damaged. Just moved from the UK to Germany and sent all my 'stuff' (books, clothes, small electronics) with parcel2ship and Parcelforce. Had it picked up from my door on Friday, had it delivered to the desired doorstep yesterday - cannot complain about delivery speed. Collection and delivery executed fine, but the time 'windows' for both are too wide - anytime between 7.30am and 5.30pm which makes it very difficult for both sender and recipient. Other firms will narrow this down (DPD will issue a one-hour time-slot) which can make the (usually) higher cost very worthwhile. Booking over internet was pretty hassle-free. (read more)

I delivered my suitcase from Lancaster (UK) to Austria. The collection of the luggage was good and also the delivery time was okey (10 days), although the mentioned delivery time by parcel to ship was 3 to 4 days. The annoying thing is that my suitcase arrived in bad condition. One suitcase foot was broken and the suitcase had a hole. Parcel was deliever in 4 working days bristol to helsinki!!! UK TO FINLAND! Amazing tracking all the way knew where my parcel was all the time. Only problem was when I tried to change collection address - a bit of stressful confusion about which address to collect from. Otherwise I would have given them a 5 out of 5. We live in France and have used your services a few times and it is only in the last 6 month we have started to have problems. To be fair, the fault seems to be with the French part of the service. I arranged for my parcel to be picked up 2 Jan and was advised the pick up could be anytime from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm. Waited all that time and no pick up ! I booked 24hour delivery with City Link to Ipswich on the 19/12/2012 and parcel did not arrive until 24/12/2012. Too late for the contents to be distibuted by the recipient. Cheaper than booking direct with carriers but if there is a problem the costs escalate and charges become much higher!I recently sent an item sold on ebay via this service, unfortunately the buyer supplied a previous address, It cost £18 to change the delivery address nearly twice as much as the original posting cost. Two parcels collected in UK on 26th October for delivery to Moscow on 31st October. 13th November, one parcel was delivered. 19th November, second parcel still not delivered. I understand that Russia presents some problems for companies yet this is ridiculous and the only advice or assistance offered to help me find my parcel is to call the local delivery office in Moscow.
