Good Points: Quality build Outstanding warranty Compact Perfect mid-size camping tool
Bad Points: Maintenance
General comments: Comprising: (in a 6 Layer formation) Large Knife Blade, Small Knife Blade, Corkscrew, Can Opener, Small Screwdriver, Bottle Opener, Large Screwdriver, Wire Stripper, Reamer, Puncher & Sewing Eye, Scissors, Hook, Wood Saw, Nail File & Nail Cleaner, Metal Saw & File, Fine Screwdriver, Chisel, Pliers & Wire Cutters, Keyring, Tweezers, and finally a Toothpick!!
This tool is outstanding value for money! Mine came in a belt pouch for about £30. It's not too big and bulky like some of the knives you can get, but it's got the lot for your camping trip. Whatever I have needed, it's been there for me.
The warranty covers the knife for all conceivable damage that is incurred, as long as it wasn't misused / poor maintenance related.
That is the only thing here. It's fair to say that a well oiled machine runs like, well, a well oiled machine. This is also true of the Swiss Army knife. It must be correctly cleaned and oiled after each intensive use (i.e after a weeks worth of camping) to keep it in good shape. This can be a time consuming job, but well worth the investment. My tool has been with me nearly 5 years I think, and it's never been without its use!
