I completely regret purchasing the samsung 8500 ever since I got it I have wanted it to throw it out the window so many times.

Arbitrary voiding of warranty by repair center due to corrosion on connector renders phone unrepairable even on a customer paid basis. In an engineers judgement, this makes the phone unfit for service.

Didn't like the phone.. Most of the time it's out of service saying looking for service..
yeah u might say that it could be the service provider.. but I had a Nokia before it used to work perfectly fine where my new samsung dosen't work..

The phone was most likely on home service only. This can happen if the terrain is rough or there is not a tower near by. I have the phone and there are some dead spots in the town that I am in. Otherwise it is a great phone!

hey!!!!! s-s-stupid with the nokia. the Samsung 8500 is a better phone as a whole. you tried one phone, there could have been a defect with the 8500 you tried, or when the phone was programmed the home sid could have been incorrect or most likely the prl was not updated to the local towers.
<br>so before you go passing judgement, think!

This has NOTHING to do with the phone. The phone is a great phone. The reason for dropped calls is the service. Contact your service provider and they can attempt to booster your reseption. Hope this helps
