Albion was a bit poor, Blinding, a bit better. Shotters nation was great! Maybe in a few years the tabloids will give Babyshambles his due. It is the best song I have heard in years... Dare I say it?... It's even better than the Libertines? Anybody?

Well, shamble boys well done! bought the album first day it was released and i was blown away and hooked by the fourth song unbilotitled! what amazing song! so heart felt! there are some real rock and roll in this album! crumb begging baghead has a real attitude to it! i love it! plus a funky organ in it! which makes it classic! there are load of influences in this e'g the jam the cure even bowie! i find listening to this album is a musical joy and trip to listen to! i find this babyshambles album much much more on a deeper level! you can tell pete what he's finding hard to sing about! the band has wrote songs about fame, drugs, love, relationships, sacrifice, media and England! and i think anyone who will listen to this album SHOTTERS NATION will agree. Well done boys this is the real reason you should be in the media! because of what a great english band you are! From my view Bayshamble fans are very proud!.

Far, indeed, from a shambles baby! Babyshambles have well and truly hushed the 'finger on the trigger', 'crack fiend hunting' journalists with Shotters Nation. Doherty has redeemed himself perfectly and now has the oppourtunity to become one of Britains most successful bands since.... well... 'The Libertines'. However, the album does, at certain points, show minor allusions to modern indie music and shy off from the steretypical punk/Doherty factor.

Shotters Nation is the fantastic new album from Babyshambles. First single Delivery is a jangly, kinks-esque cracker of a pop/rock song, other up-beat radio friendly numbers include my faves Deft Left Hand and Baddies Boogie. The Lost Art Of Murder is a contrast to these, but is a brilliant heartfelt track. There are a few of what you might call 'filler tracks' here, and the album still doesn't compare to anything that The Libertines ever did but as an album in it's own right, Shotters Nation is still up there with the best this year. Better than it's predecessor Down In Albion, fans will not be disappointed.
