I got my Hudson Skateboard for £20, which is very cheap at JJB Sports. The grip tape wore off during the first 5 mins off usage which is disgraceful! If you want to learn how to skate without doing any tricks get this board, if you're a pro get a FLIP deck

The Hudson Skateboard is not bad board overall, I learnt how to ollie on them and varial kickflip. It has the worst griptape known to man and it snapped when I ollied up a curb what does that tell you?

The deck pic on the Hudson Skateboard comes off really easy, the grit pells away or wears down, the bearings just stop the wood just breaks, the trucks just wear away if you go down one curb, so i think the best thing is the wheels.

A good Board for beginner but it is pretty shoddily put togeather, i bet i could snap one in five minutes. It weighs a tonne and this makes it hard to ollie. I learn on one and it fell apart pretty soon after i started to ollie off stuff.

I don't have this board myself but my mate duz,its her 1st board & she's had it 4 a year. The board is really heavy i dunno if it's the trucks or the deck but it's hard work if yor learning to ollie.I think it's an ok board if you are just starting but i wouldn't recomend it for advanced skaters at all it's probably impossible to kickflip!

The board on my Hudson skateboard split after an hours use. It's not fit for purpose. It's not the worst skateboard but then again i wouldn't be jumping to buy another one. The trucks allow little movement and i was unable to produce any decent tricks while i was using it. If anybody was looking to buy a Hudson skateboard i'd recomend you look elsewhere and invest in a better quality board. I suppose beginners would be ok using one though, just for the basics.

My first board was a hud, bad wheels, bad griptape, bad trucks, flat concave but strong deck and never wearing graphic. Not bad for £20 quid if your a beginner.

Hudson skatboards are alright for beginners.

I would argue the point that Hudson skateboards are for 'very beginners' as you said because it depends on which Hudson board you have. Mine is really good even if yours isn't.
