Back in the days of skating on a minimal budget i thought i would buy a HUD deck from my local JJB to provide as backup in case my even worse yet sturdier Airwalk decided to make a break for the shining light in the sky. Too eager to wait for such a moment i decided to fix up my brand new deck to my cheap nasty trucks and go out on it as you do. One attempt at a heelflip and my nose snaps. Annoyed at this i went to my local B&M Bargains and bought a Digimon Skateboard for 10pounds. Went home and ...

The hudson skateboard is the worst deck ever, everything about this board is poor, i dont like the way it looks or feels. There are absolutely no bad points at all.

I think the wide bodies are good for riding. They are good value for money. I would recommend them for a second or third board as they are good for riding .May be useful for a non serious rider. Useful for just riding non trick rider.

I've had my Hudson Skateboard for 2-3 years now and made a lot of progress. Now I'm ready to move on to a real skateboard cause mine sucks! It was cheap! The grip tape sucks and the wheels are no good.

I have been skating for little over a month now and have already broken 2 Hudson boards. The first 1 I bought was £15 and lasted 2 weeks but I learnt to ollie on it and it gave me a good start. The second 1 was £25 and was Abec 3 and rode a lot better but the board snapped after a week. I went back to JJB and then bought a new deck for £6 and I have been learning to pop-shuvit on it and it's been fine so far. But I find them to be very annoying when trying to ollie as the board ...

I got my Hudson Skateboard in 2000; I only really started practising on it last week and one of the tales have nearly come off. I live in Liverpool so I can't find any sk8 shops and my mum wont buy me another board because she thinks there to expensive. I only want a like a cheep flip board at the most. Anyway my board has never had pop, it's the heaviest board ever and a 1/4 of the grip tape has come off. if any 1 could recommend a shop in Liverpool that sells good boards. I've got my eye on a ...

Most people say that Hudson Skateboard are poor quality but there not that bad. I have been skating for a year now and snapped 12 skateboards all together most of them Hudson. I snapped 1 street line x, 1 grind industries and a rubbish cheap one. Hudson is fairly good. the decks are strong the grip tape wears down after awhile which is a bummer. The trus are good, they last ages and are strong. The wheels and bearings aren't too bad, it depends what deck you get. They are fairly heavy so you don ...

I got my Hudson Skateboard for £20, which is very cheap at JJB Sports. The grip tape wore off during the first 5 mins off usage which is disgraceful! If you want to learn how to skate without doing any tricks get this board, if you're a pro get a FLIP deck

I have been skateboarding for 4 years now; I have always bought a proper skateboard from a respectable skateboard shop. I always see skaters at my local park with Hudson decks, and sometimes I feel like asking them why they wasted their money. Hud decks are heavy, bulky, the trucks are fragile and the big fat jelly wheels make it impossible to gain any momentum, along with the abec 1 bearings I can safely say that hud decks are the biggest pile of rubbish on the face of the earth. The few that I ...

The Hudson Skateboard is ok if you are a begginer because it is cheap, but for another ten to twenty five pounds you can get a stateside, renner, fracture or route one set up. Where the quality is brilliant. The trucks on my old Hudson would not steer properly which is really annoying. My hudson lasted me 5 months and by 4 it was all squared off at the back, and when it gets like that it is a mission to do tricks on. In conclusion it is the worst deck on the planet and is dangerous because of th ...

Hudson Skateboards are good if you have little money to spend, but all the components are useless. I bought mine and two days later I was going down a really steep hill and one of the trucks snapped. I fell and broke my arm. I am only 9 stone so it was down to the poor quality of the trucks and fittings. Do not get one they are rubbish. Get a stateside or renner if you are a begginer, or a blueprint or mechanism deck if ur good. Feeble decks are amazing too! Thank you for your time

Basically do not listen to people who say Hudson are good. They are mad. For 40-50- quid you can get a half decent fracture deck. I have skated for 11 months now. My first deck was a hudson and it was really hard to ollie on. good to learn how to ride and balance. It lasted me 5 months and by 4 it was squared off at the back. I then got a stateside poison for 35 quid and this was a lot better had loads of pop can now ollie up a kerb. Trucks feel nicer to turn on too. That lasted me 4 months beca ...

I had my Hudson deck for 4 years and 3 months, until 3 days ago it snapped - only to the weight of two people standing on each tail end and jumping up and down (One weighing 9 stone, and the one who jumped 11 stone) so a pretty strong durable deck. The only main problem was the grip tape - it wore away after a month or so, and I had to replace it. That was it. It's great because when you ride it the transparent red wheels and ABEC 5 bearings don't make a sound like an old shopping trolley like m ...

I bought my Hudson skateboard for £50 (one of the best models) and have been very pleased with it ever since. I find that its got brilliant turning ability, good strong trucks that keep their shine after many grinds and it also has good pop. I've had mine for about a year now and the griptape still hasn't worn out even after frequent use. The wheels are also very good. They're made of rubber to cushion landings from large heights and are very durable. On this skateboard you can go really f ...

The Hudson Skateboard is not bad board overall, I learnt how to ollie on them and varial kickflip. It has the worst griptape known to man and it snapped when I ollied up a curb what does that tell you?

I just bought a Hudson Skateboard as I want to get into boarding. The Hudson pro I bought from JJB was great value for money at only 19.99. I have only just started boarding and the Hudson I think is a great skateboard for begginers. It has everything you need to start boarding abec 3 nice wheels strong deck nice looking trucks. I would definatly recommend this to begginers like me.
