Been to Langlands Brasserie several times, with varied results.Have had good quality lunches but mostly poor quality food and a little expensive.
Biggest problem is the service,we were ther last evening, hardly anyone there as it had rained all day , we ordered drinks and the menu, 20 minutes later no drinks or order taken. The waitress who took our drinks order was cleaning a table ,senior staff were hanging about in the background and the barman was clueless - cancelled the drinks and left.
The place is superbly located, very attractive but is not run by proffesionals - must be losing a fortune.

Arrived at langlands brasserie to be greeted by a very cheer full young waitress who was keen to help. We were seated in a very pleasant area over looking the delightful bay of langland with one of the finest views i have seen in a restaurant. The food was served in a reasonable time and i must say it was very nice, The seafood pasta i had was very good and definaetely what you'd expect from a restaurant by the sea. My wife had tuna salad with saute potatoes, and for a very picky person she thor ...

after waiting in the Langlands Brasserie for over 2 hours, our Sunday lunch of roast beef came, well I must say its the first time I have eaten the sole of a shoe, the beef was full of gristle & impossible to cut with a knife, we waited for someone to ask us if everything was ok, ALAS nobody came, my daughter did complain when a waitress came to clear the table, she said she would tell the manager, did he come ? NO, we waited & waited for dessert, in the end we got up as our 3 hour parking was a ...

In Langlands Brasserie Langland,we started off with being sat right next to the entrance to the toilets and serving hatch when the majority of the restaurant was empty! Got served the wrong drinks twice, food was not interesting and would never get through the first round of masterchef! What a disappointment for £35 a head in valentines night what a disgrace, staff seemed unmotivated, feel I could have done better myself! And to top it all off chocolate fondue was burnt!!!

What a let down. With one of the best views in Swansea surely the staff should be motivated to fulfil the restaurants potential? I feel I experienced bad service, bad food, high prices - total disappointment. The experience was summed up by the apparent attitude of our waitress. I asked what the soup of the day was and the waitress replied carrot and coriander so my mother and I both ordered it. When it arrived (30 minutes later) it was actually tomato. I said this wasn't what we had ordered and ...

Unfortunately in my opinion, Langlands Brasserie seem to get by with tourism, so don't need locals with repeated business. We had such an awful experience we shall never go back.
Service was very slow - 1 hour for starter!
We asked for a table with room for a buggy, did not get it.
    Waitresses seemed inattentive to us
    Food cold

We have been five times because we have a home very close. Our experiences have included long waits, an amateur rock band playing at full volume when we were there for dinner on a Friday evening and seemingly poor service. We will not visit again.

What a location, has to be the best in the country! Can't wait to return in the summer. I had a fabulous experience when I dined at Langlands Brasserie. The restaurant was really busy, the staff were very friendly and the food was divine. The food did take longer than one would expect but this was explained to us by the staff as everything is freshly cooked to order.

This place has the potential to be brilliant. However, the management must get the staff better trained to deal with busy periods and the kitchen staff will either have to cut down the choice of menu, or speed up their processes. At over '£30 per head (including wine), I would expect a much better overall experience.

I think some of the previous commentators must have gone to a different restaurant. On Easter Sunday I had a lamb dish with couscous that was everything you could wish for - delicate, tender, melt in the mouth, followed by a stunning, rich chocolate tart. My other half was equally impressed with his steak and ale pie and strawberry parfait. Two courses of superb cooking, several glasses of coke for the driver and a generous glass of very good quality white wine for me, coffee and tea - all for j ...

In short this excuse for a restaurant fails in every aspect, food was rubbish, service was rubbish. Price of dishes, well it would put London prices to shame, woouldn't be so bad if the food was of quality and cooked and presented in a good way, but it wasn't. Children were running all over the place and shouting and screaming, not that I have any problem with kids in restaurants, but I feel parents should be told to kerb the behaviour .

We arrived at the 'restaurant' expecting great things but left after our starters turned up with our tasteless main course. The service was uncaring and unexperienced. The prices were way past what we Brightonians would expect from a 5* establishment ( '£22.50 for an 8oz fillet are you having a laugh?!!)

We arrived at Patricks in Mumbles 2 hours later and begged for dessert and coffee. They welcomed us with open arms and turned our dire evening into something to laugh about and remember. ...

Overall, it must have been one of the worse dining experiences I have had in years. It just does not live up to the price - not even close. I definitely would not recommend going there.

Used to lunch every weekend here after a really lovely walk over the cliffs. So dissappointed now as the menu has changed, no jacket pots, cold sandwiches, etc. Prices gone up. Going alternate seaview restaurant nearby now.

Specials were not available on the occasion I visited. Menu was otherwise limited in choice. Food was average as a function to cost (4 dinning, 2 courses + coffee = '£122). Some staff appeared inexperienced. Service in general could best be described as uncoordinated but staff were apologetic and polite. 6.5/10

I wholeheartedly recommend the Langland's Brasserie for an enjoyable and memorable evening out. I hope they will keep the good work up and we look forward to our next visit to the Brasserie sometime next spring! As a PS I would like to add that we have even organised a surprise birthday dinner in November for our son and his lady-friend. Need I say more???

Considering its location, the Langlands Brasserie is let down big time by poor service and food quality. The prices appear reasonable, but quality and size of portions... Explain that?

Drinks were late in arrival. Starters were not cleared away for some time. The Chicken Supreme main course was far from super. The supposed breast was more like a leg or wing with skin still attached. It had a bone that was literally charcoal burnt sticking out. It had been so overcooked that it had frizzled to ...
