    Good Points: Easy to obtain


    Bad Points: Very poor customer service, very bad practices in place and not at all suitable for anyone who travels outside the UK regularly


    General comments: Totally inflexible customer service and when abraod the Barclaycard Breathe is constantly suspended without notice costing the consumer large amounts of money to call the bank to get the card unblocked. Barclays has no concept of customer service when it comes to dealing with consumers who travel

    Barclaycard promised me informally that they would terminate the call centre in India at the end of 2008. In fact, they seem to have terminated the UK call centre, which gave such good service.
    The current call centre is very poor.
