Good Points: The macro feature and the 5x optical zoom.

Bad Points: In auto ISO for whatever reason, the camera selects the highest speed regardless of the lighting situation, which cause the pics to be noisy

General comments: The Sony CyberShot DSC-T100 is a OK camera at best. It does not live up to the all the hype. For some reason, all of Sony's consumer line digital cameras lack the ability to select a decent ISO speed when in auto or program. I had buyers remorse in the beginning until I realize that the darn thing kept selecting ISO 400 and above for any shooting situation. I manually changed the setting to 200 and the pics looked great. Prior, the pics were horrible. Compared to other makers, Sony is a tad bit on the high side for quality that does not measure up. The camera is hit or miss. Stick with Canon, for they nail it everytime!

Overall, this product is really great. High pixel resolution, nice LCD screen size, and thin body.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 is the best camera I have ever used. No doubt more megapixels will come along but I fail to see the need. From the musical slideshow to the special effects to the ease of downloading. I am most impressed.
