Good Points: ATM Link CardStrong Branch NetworkEthical Policies

Bad Points: Interest rates are lower than many other financial institutionsvariable interest rates

General comments: The Co-Op bank is leading the market with its ethical member-led policy. They provide a ATM link card, which tie-ing in with their policies as it is made of environmentally friendly renewable sorces.
With regards to account operation, in common with other Co-Op and SMILE accounts they can have deposits (cash and cheque) made in any Post Office branch as well as bank branches. Account can also be operated via phone and post.
The interest rates aren't the highest out there but they have a high ethical stance which far outwieghs this apparent disadvantage.
