This is one of the worst products I've come across in my life. Under no circumstances buy this strimmer.

I recently purchased a Bosch 23 battery operated Acutrim strimmer. I am very pleased with the results except that I find it impossible to remove the battery from the strimmer after use in order to charge it. I`m having to ask a neighbour for assistance. I do feel there should be an easier way to deal with this.

i have to agree with all the reviews here. 1. the line keep on breaking and i have to switch off the machine (more than 5 times per meter sq) just to open the spool and retrieve the nylon line. 2. the trimming is not that clean and neat. got so fed up and bought myself the grass shear. 3. extremely noisy. the neighbours probably hate me for that. 4. so what i should do now with this piece of junk?

I thought i must have done something wrong that this machine's line keep snapping every 3 seconds. I've tried changing the spool location, i've tried dismantle the grass cover thingy. Nothing works and it is quite frustrating. I'm glad that i've read other people comments here and realize this machine is a piece of junk and nothing is wrong with my power tool skill. Who would have thought such useless piece a tool can be released into public. Bosch name will forever live in infamy.

Fully agree with other reviewers that this tool is a complete waste of money and time spend on the purchase. I do much more work with a usual sickle than with this electric machine. My neighbour has the same experience. How could Bosch ever launch such a product?

There is a design fault with this strimmer. No matter what type of line you use it breaks within a few seconds and the strimming head has to be dismantled to retread thr line. Do not buy.

I have just used this strimmer for the first time. After 10secs the length of cutting plastic cord sheared off inside the spool so it wouldn't auto feed which meant I had to dismantle the spool, same again 1 min later.Attached heavy duty spool which lasted 15 secs before snapping off.Its going straight back to H omebase!!!!

As with all the other people who've been mugged by Bosch with this excuse of a strimmer, cord disappears every three seconds, the spool runs out quickly and the cover is impossible to open. A recipe for total frustration, this heap of junk.

I have had a bosch art 23 trimmer for quite a few years and when working properly it is a very good tool but with my first one I found that after a time I had great difficulty removing the end cap to reload the spool I contacted bosch who very kindly sent me a new one,but now this one keeps throwing the end cap off the very opposite of what was happening before,I wonder if anyone else has had this problem,I would add that I have always been an admirer of bosch tools having quite a lot of them.

Cord breaks every 5 seconds of strimming, which means you have to continually re-thread the spool. Makes a 10 min job take 2 hours. Rubbish.

Strimmer line continually breaks, and getting the spool off and back on is awkward and difficult. Excessive noise and vibration in use. Definitely not for anyone who has high blood pressure.

There is actually nothing to recommend this bit of junk. To advance new line you have to tap in down. Then it either leaves a small crop circle in your lawn or if you tap it on a firm surface it skims off leaving traces of aluminium. How long will the component last under those circumstances? When it does advance new line it sends out so much it cuts off 4"excess each time. Goes through the line in no time. Then it decides not to send out any line and you are left to turn of at the plug and rescue the line from the casset. Strimmering our medium sized garden took a frustratingly long time. We took it back to the shop and told them it was unfit for purpose! Don't waste your time and money. Bosch should be ashamed of this junk.

Bought 2011 at Johor for RM 150 for cutting my small grass lawn at my Bukit Indah home. Power by home 220V supply. Get spare BB-2T plastic trimmer at the shop for 1 year use. Happy grass cutting!

Had a Bosch washing machine years ago and it was a piece of junk as well. I was working in the back garden when my wife came round from the front saying " I can't stick this anymore " guess what she was talking about? The Easytrim , everyone's complaints on here have happened with us. I'm finished with Bosch. This machine couldn't have been tested.

This Bosch is maybe the most disappointing garden tool I have ever bought. Maybe my expectations were too high, but that is want a brand name like Bosch does. So why is this sooo disappointing? 1. Every time I use it I have to detangle and then re-thread the line. 2. Even with the line thread correctly it just hums – it does not strim (my garden looks semi-shaved) 3. I knocked it the other day and the guard broke off (rendering it unusable) I honestly thought I would at least do me for the 5 years or so that my Flymo did – but now it’s on its way back to the shop. Given the reviews of other strimmers here it look like finding a good one is not easy - Grrr!

Not for me, found it hurting your back after few minutes.

I can't see one redeeming feature about this useless piece of junk. I was sucked in by the name, but it really is a case of "buy cheap, buy twice". This is two weeks old and on my way to get a flymo strimmer this afternoon, this will be literally going on the council tip. Save yourself trouble and DON'T buy one.

My Bosch Easy Trim strimmer works well for about two metres of lawn edge. Then the 'tap feed' mechanism fails, and I have to remove the spool and re-thread the nylon line. The plastic ring on the spool has a small hole through which the nylon cord passes. With use, this hole soon elongates and causes the nylon to snag, and refuse to feed. I have replaced the spool twice ... same problem each time. I thought that the Bosch name would guarantee a quality product. Sadly, this is not so in the case of this implement. My recommendation? Do not buy one of these.

I refuse to even give this a wee bit of a star but i cant submit this review without one so i score it -99. Biggest load of manure ever to have come out with the bosch name on it. a cynic might think this is their revenge for a war lost or sumat. lasted all of 20 mins, the tap to feed doesnt work and i cannot get the spool changed. perhaps every german household has a special tool for changing their Bosch strimmer spools but it is a mystery to me. How anyone had the idea to even make his garbage is beyond me. I'll give em full marks for persuading the company to invest in making this manure.

I bought this 3 years ago in B&Q, good price,Bosch good name??? wrong. its awful to use, very very poor and I can't get the spool cover off even after oiling it overnight. not much fun when youre a hard up OAP.
I've had several strimmers and this is total rubbish in every way.
