    Have been to Izumi in Maldon quite a few times now and always enjoy the food. The waiters are excellent, very fast at clearing the plates inbetween courses and are all very friendly.
    The only "down side" we found on our last visit was that our 11 year old Grandson was classed as an adult - he is just 150cm tall in his trainers - and ate less than our eight year old Grandaughter.
    I just find it strange that food consumtion of a child is related to hieght. Although on scrutiny of the menue it does state this in small writing, we felt we should this fact have been confirmed to us on booking as I stated that the booking was for three adults and two children.

    We have been to Izumi, a number of times now food is always of a good standard and before something runs out they re-fill it very quickly.
    When you finish the staff are very good at getting rid of your plates so that you can go up again without having to wait, staff are always friendly and helpful and the venue is spotless. Over all good value for money well worth a visit.

    We have all been to Izumi's a number of times and the food is fantastic with a great variety, the service a also very good, with the staff being really attentive to your needs nothing is to much for them, I can strongly recommend the Teriyaki bar when you choose what you want cooked it is fantastic.

    the food at Izumi was absolutely delicious. It provided us with a great variety of food like Japanese, Chinese and Korean food. I recommend that you should try it out and see for yourselves. you would be very impressed. The restaurant was clean, very fancy and even the toilets were very posh. I couldn't ask for more in a restaurant.

    we went to Izumi as a family group of 7 adults and 3 children and we were all very impressed with the service , choice , cleanliness and cost, the whole meal includng drinks came to £89 and the amount of food we all got through was vast!! we will definately be making this resteraunt a regular place to dine.

    The food at Izumi was excellent and had a lot of variety to choose from. The different dishes never ran out as they were re-filled with fresh food regulary. The good thing was that you could go up and get as much as you wanted, as many times as you wanted. Overall it was a enjoyable meal.All of the food was lovely. Through the meal the waitors where quite polite until the end when they were hovering around us trying to get rid of us! They put the bill on the table, even though we didnt ask for ...

    Izumi, Maldon. There was tasty food and plenty of variety to suit the tastes for my partner and my children, and a great thank you to the waitress who cared for our table through out the evening and provided an excellent services.

    Everything. Friendly and attentive staff, excellent selection of dishes, clean and hygienic. Good atmosphere.
    Excellent value, particularly at lunchtime mid week when you can eat as much as you like for £6.50.

    Izumi is the only good thing to have come to Maldon plus a new Izumi has opened in Brentwood so that tells you how good it is

    This is the best chinese food I have had and at a great price. I really enjoyed my meal at this buffet and am going again soon. I would definately recomend it to everyone.

    Izumi restaurant is more expensive in the evenings, but there is more choice, including very nice fish and seafood options.

    If you like an everything-you-can-eat buffet try Izumi in Maldon, you definitely won't be disappointed...
