Placed an ordered for a lightburst mirror on the 4th March 2013, stated 2 weeks delivery. It's been delayed several times and now stock is not due to arrive until 30th September almost 7 months after order was placed and FULLY PAID for. There has been no phone call of apology only an update on my account online. My wife and I bought a £350 coffee table in Jan 2013. This wasn't in stock so we paid up front for the goods and waited for the Feb 2013 delivery date. This then changed to March. Ok we thought not too bad but then this got changed to April, then May and now June. I'm sorry but for a commercial retailer to make you pay for a product 100% and then not deliver the goods within 6-months is shocking. They are using their customers as an interest free loan. I have no confidence they will deliver... (read more)

Ordered goods from dwell's website in January, which were advertised as being available in 1week. The week passed with no contact. Their on-line ordering system kept getting updated that the goods would be in the following week and so this went on for 3 months! Dwell have some fantastic products. When I visited I ended up ordering over £2k worth of items. Three months later I hadn't received a single one of them, despite the longest lead time for the items being 9 weeks. Delivery date has now been pushed back to the end of June. That would have been over 5 months since the initial order so I have cancelled everything. I wont be ordering from Dwell again and based on other reviews, I fully expect them to close down in the near future. (read more)

My order was for a mirror. I appreciate Dwell has some great stuff but with so many negative reviews would you really want to take the chance. After research I managed to find several other retailers offering the same mirror and have it in stock - Dwell kept claiming they were having suppler problems. Other users have suggested Dwell going bust which would back up the suppliers problem. Good luck with what you decide but with so many bad reviews is it worth the risk?
