I have ordered a dining table and chairs from Dwell and had many issues. Let me start by saying that delivery was on time. But that's where the good points stop !
QUALITY
2 of the chairs needed replacing. One chair was sorted by the new replacement. The replacement for the other chair needed to be returned another 2 times. I must add that Dwell replaced faulty goods without issue, but it seems to me that the OVERALL QUALITY of their product is pretty poor
NOT AS DESCRIBED
The dining table is described as walnut veneer. I know a veneer is a thin piece of REAL WOOD on top of some other cheaper wood. The table was on display in the Westfield store and looks like real wood walnut veneer. The delivered item is nothing like the store displayed item. Its a few shades darker and doesn't look or feel like a real wood veneer ! In fact I think its a laminated product.
BUILD QUALITY
I ordered a further product which was a £400 'walnut veneer' sideboard. This time I went to a store to check it out. The doors and drawers were of very flimsy build quality, I would say of cheap Argos level (sorry Argos!); not what I would exspect for a £400 product. I cancelled the order.
All in all they have the styling right but the quality is well short of where it should be for the price.

Product was delivered late and was damaged. Customer service was rude and unhelpful. Took weeks to sort out the problem. I would never buy from this company again. Truely awful experience.

Bought a wabdrobe and bed from dwell. Quality was good for the price. Delivery on time. So far so good. Instructions must have been written by a retard as they skipped steps and appeared incoherent.
Bastards sold me a bed frame that only Dwell sold the mattress too-which I found out later. 4 weeks later we agreed that I would [ay for the mattress although now more expensive but they would waiver the delivery cost. They persistently dont reply to emails and there customer services could mail a le ...- Read Guest's review (88 words)

I own and run an interior design business and have bought many many items with Dwell in the past. Yes, there does seem to be an issue with their deliveries however haven't we all put our trust in someone/something that lets us down - it appears that Dwell's fault is simply that they have silly suppliers who cannot print instructions properly or deliver to them ontime. You all seem to be knocking them for something which doesnt appear to be THEIR fault! As it stands I have a great working relatio ...- Read Guest's review (160 words)

I have ordered from Dwell on two occasions previously. The third time I ordered from the company, I received poor customer service.
I ordered some furniture on behalf of my partner for two flats he owns outside London. I first tried to do this online, but because the delivery address and the address to which my card was registered were different, Dwell was unable to process the transaction. I had to go to a store eventually and order the furniture. Come delivery, my partner was unable to ...- Read Guest's review (258 words)

DWELLs sizes are custom made so if you need to replace the matress and don't like the poor quality ones they sell then you have to pay over the odds to get one custom made. I called the Dwell store and as well as their customer service department and they told me to find a shop which sells European size mattresses as all their beds are European sizes this is incorrect as Dwell get them custom made.- Read Guest's review (89 words)

I took a risk with Dwell as I had seen some very poor reviews. However, I had a very positive experience with them. Good communication. The bed was delivered when they said it would be. Sadly my stairs were too bendy and that bed did not fit even though the delivery men gave it a good go. The bed was taken back with the delivery men and payment refunded on the same day. I called to check on the status two days later and got straight through to an advisor who updated me there and then.- Read Guest's review (96 words)

Having purchased from Dwell previously I was pretty happy with my order despite a slight blemish on the high gloss black chest of drawers I purchased. However, my recent order was for a white high gloss tv stand that needed to be assembled. It arrived in a battered box filled with equally battered polystyrene. The instructions were absolutely pathetic! One sheet of arrows pointing to "something" that the naked eye could not possibly fathom. The machinery is shoddy beyond belief. Holes drilled ...- Read Guest's review (157 words)

Refused to allow purchase of goods when they found it was going, at Christmas, to an address other than the credit card holder, despite the fact that it was to the same name. Claimed to have sent a text, quickly changed that to had sent an email, then telephoned after Christmas. No explanation other than 'not our policy' to accept delivery to another address other than the home of the holder. Wanted me to pay for my Christmas present my son tried to buy for me. Apparently could not conceive of ...- Read Guest's review (127 words)

I have ordered furniture twice from Dwell this year. My first order for a dining table and four chairs was delivered super fast - however the packaging was terrible - there were no instructions of how to put things together and i received fixings for one chair.
While Dwell's customer services were very pleasant and helpful they are limited as to what they can do to help. It took several emails to the customer services manager - who answered none of them - and a call to Trading Standards bef ...- Read angief's review (153 words)

This is the 3rd time I have used Dwell and I am afraid it's my last. I will not put myself through this again. I find the customer service to be very disappointing. I have been on hold for long periods of time, and have yet to receive any replies to my emails. Very very very frustrating. I feel that small businesses need to deliver fantastic customer care and Dwell just does not do this. I receive an auto reply saying 'we will answer emails in 3 days'! I think they should stop expanding and get ...- Read bobbythebuilder's review (117 words)

Designs look impressive - but the in-stock date keeps delaying. Customer service was non-existent. No reply to emails, 20 minute waiting for a call-centre. Goods ordered still not delivered 2 months later. This shop is doomed if it can't deliver and it does not care about it's customers.- Read Guest's review (46 words)

Pretty fast delivery and I do love the High gloss black lacquer desk I bought from them. It is really steady and rock solid and quite easy to put together. The deliverymen were cool guys too.
I am pleased with the purchase the desk really shines I just wish I got the white one because it's a bit depressing been black, it's quite a large desk and makes my room seem darker. I may just order the white one too. Again be careful with these desks and expect a few scuff marks of them if using a PC on ...- Read NateSilvers's review (152 words)

Here's my story of Dwell- purchased items for price higher than what they were advertising in their current up to date magazine. When told them no one appeared to be able to give me an answer - with hounding phone calls i managed to get an email reply. They have stated they wont be refunding the money nor taking the goods back since there was a misprint in their catalogue.- Read Guest's review (110 words)

Received my first desk from Dwell which looked to be chipped and scratched with the lacquer peeling off.It was replaced after sending photos to their customer services team. However I had to wait 5 months for the replacement to come. When the replacement arrived the paint work had seemingly dripped during manufacture and set with drips on two sides. How this got through their Quality Control I have no idea?I agreed to try one last replacement as they promised to quality check it before it was d ...- Read tom1702's review (169 words)
