“Great weight loss!!”

I m so pleased with the Tesco Diet, I ve only been on it for about 10 days and I lost 4lbs in the first week. I know even though I haven't weighed in yet for the second week I ve lost more as my clothes are fitting me great! I m no longer squeezing into a 10-12 I m already in an 8-10!! So feel fantastic. Like the fact there is advice at hand and if the question isn't answered straight away someone always emails very soon! Taken me a bit of time to find my way around and initially quite a bit to read about my diet plan but well worth reading! So join today you will be pleased with the results and believe me the first 4-5 days are the hardest and then it gets easier so stick with it and you will achieve your goal!

“Tesco totals diet”

I have you this diet before and it worked for me i have lost about 11 pounds in 2 weeks.I am really disappointed though with the totals diary where you input your food it hasn't been working properly since i joined this time e.g you put in one biscuit click save and it comes up with hundreds of biscuits and its really doing my head in.Just had a email from customer service advising me that all is well but you guessed it its worse

“Get a Grip!”

Tescodiets and the support team have helped me get a strong grip on my eating habits and maintain the good habits of healthy eating and regular exercise which have knocked the kilos off my hips over the last couple of years. Even my fingers are slimmer! I like the ability to vary my diet and menus, not being stuck in any tramlines, and the cheerful feedback offered by the support team. If asked what I don't like I'd say the annoying predictive text which changes ryvita to revitalising and other such nutty anomalies. Also it's sometimes hard to find something you have eaten, such as summer pudding, (a good healthy option) and once you do it erroneously records it as having no calories!! Not very helpful, I'm sure you'll agree, when you're trying to track your intake for the day. But overall I've been very grateful for the help I've received and certainly have introduced several friends to your system.

“Sandpit1 Weight Loss”

I joined tesco diets at the end of September and have achieved my first stone. Even with Xmas coming I stayed stable one week and lost 1/2 lbs this week. I love the fact that you have a choice of ways to diet as we all eat and crave different things. I do find it difficult to contact a diet expert on the one line instant contact messaging system and I have found that really frustrating but when I e-mail I always get a response. I have recent found a mentor who I feel gives me good help, advice and confidence and will be sending my weekly comments after the weigh-in directly to her from now onwards as it would be good to speak to the same person each week. I am really glad I joined Tesco diets and a plus also that I can use my tesco points to pay for my membership :-)

“Great System & Support”

I love the easy way to record what you are eating and drinking and the quick check to see you are properly hydrated, have your 5 a day, calcium and not too much coffee. I am far from a perfect dieter but I know that when I get it right I am eating healthily and will lose weight and inches. It is great to be part of TD's on-line community who you can e-talk to whenever it is convenient to you. It is much more supportive than going to a slimming club and I think of some members as friends.

“i'm actually loosing”

I was getting desperate to loose some weight but lacked any motivation. When I saw this diet on the wave website I thought I would have a go. I am so glad I did, It's amazing to eat so much and still loose weight, The good thing is that there are always plenty of alternatives to use if the first option offered is not to your taste.I have found it quite time consuming following all new recipes but i guess that will get easier the more familiar i become withe diet.Weighing everything is laborious but I see the value of it ensuring portion control, have already recommended it to a colleague at work and would definitely say to anyone give it a try. It would have been good to be prepared for how much my first shop would be. n Now I have the staple ingredients it has got easier and hopefully cheaper. Any communication from mentors has been prompt and polite.

“good way of dieting with lots of choice”

This plan is more supportive than the other diets I have tried online. I am still in my early days but the forums are useful and are keeping me going when I am new. Lots of choices for meals and you can mix and match very well. On the totals plan and this is good for point counting . The only thing i dont like is not being able to add a whole meal you have to add the separate ingredients

“Easy to use online diet plan”

have just embarked on the tesco diets and so far i am very happy with the online user guide. It is easy to use and the fact you can change/swap meals to suit not only you but the family needs as well. There is a tool to add or subtract what you have eaten, and being ableto track when and why you had a "treat" helps to realise why you are eating the high calorie foods. It also shows the amount of calories you are eating, which helps to understand how food amount soon adds up!

“First Time Dieter”

As a first time dieter, I found this simple & easy. It plans my meals and counts the calories for me. I track my meals daily & add on any extras I have, so I always know when I've had good & bad days. It's opened my eyes to portion sizes and just how many calories there are in different types of foods. I struggled in the first couple of weeks, but the diet mentors kept me going and made me think about doing things differently. They are very supportive and helpful. I thoroughly enjoy the blogging part of the site and it lets me record my efforts and thoughts, as well as getting responses from my fellow dieters. It's a great forum for getting motivation and for helping me understand that everyone is in the same boat. For me, the fitness section was unnecessary as I already do a fair amount of exercise so I didn't need a fitness program. If you are already in to fitness, I'd say you don't need this, but I'd recommend it if you're trying to get in to fitness. To summarise, it's fun and easy; a diet to enjoy.

“Steady weight loss - easy to follow program”

I really needed to lose weight and as I exercise regularly knew it was down to the food that I was eating. I researched lots of different diets and liked the idea of monitoring my eating on-line. I joined Tesco Diets and liked the fact you can choose a specific diet plan (I use the diabetes plan)and you can design your own weekly plan. I struggled in the first week with getting used to the plan and eating smaller portions but you soon get used to it and can choose from a variety of meals, swapping and changing depending on what you fancy. I have lost 9 lbs in 6 weeks and I am really motivated in reaching my target weight. I have uploaded my measurements and have really noticed a difference in my clothes. The only drawback to the Tesco diet on-line is the app/website. When you try to edit your meals it does not always find the ingredients or measurements even though they are available in store as Tesco's own products which can be frustrating at times. However having said that I am having success and would recommend this to anyone to try as it is great value for money.

“very easy to follow”

I initially started the body boost and lost 6lb but changed to the low fat for a long term health benefit. The menus are varied and with the Edit option you can tailor your food to your requirements. It is excellant for portion control and gives allowances for alcohol. In conclusion, tesco diets is an assistant to help you ensure that you are eating the correct foods with the correct portion size to your build to ensure that you feel alot better about yourself, encouraging you to be fit and healthy.

“Good diet aid”

Gave me the kick start I needed, to get back in control of my eating for my holiday and also to get back into healthy eating. However, I used another free website to make the diet suit my personal food preferences and keep on track. I don't like meat, cheese or soya, but can take eggs, nuts and lentils. That said, you choose your own meals from an options list. One problem...watch your target isn't too low, or you may go on maintainance diet too early and I couldn't reverse that, so had to keep a close watch on my intake using My Fitness Pal. Also, if you have your own exercise regime (I went to Boot Camp), there is no scope to take account of this, if not subscribing to the Tesco fitness plan, which just did't appeal to me. Overall, I have used Tesco Diets site five times now quite successfully and recommend it.

“Worth the effort, time and dilligence”

Two and half years ago I was a few stone overweight and had been for years, going from a size 12 to 18 over the space of 9 years without really taking much notice. The day I decided enough was enough and joined Tescodiets.com was the best decision I have made in years. I followed the plan and increased my exercise regime and started seeing results, almost immediately. About a year and half later I was back down to a size 12, within 5 kgs of an acceptable weight that made me feel comfortable. After a year I am back on the diet to lose an extra few kgs picked up and have found it is a great way to maintain a healthy respect for my health and life.

“Every pound lost counts!”

I decided to join Tesco Diets using the 6 week offer to see if it would work for me and I'm still here 5 moths on.... Tesco Diets provides an excellent variety of foods and even meals the whole family can eat! Tesco Diets provide excellent support after weigh ins that motivate you to stick with it there are plenty of forums you can join and you can tailor the food to wherever you shop. You can also try different diets to find the one that suits you... I would however, like to see an app as having to go to a PCeach time can be a little annoying

“Easy to follow, allows freedom of choice”

I have been following the GI diet and found it very effective and rarely feel hungry. Signed up for 6 months when on offer so works out reasonable cost per week. I frequently change the meals and find it quite easy to change whole meals or single items for accuracy. Also easy to input your own foods to use if not already listed. I find keeping track through the day makes it easier to stay on track than leaving it for a few days and then inputting. You can change your final meal to keep carbs/protein/fat levels within the daily limits. Downside - I have used Sainsburys diets before and you could input your exercise and create your own recipes without paying extra. It would be nice to be able to log my exercise alongside my food choices. I don't think it's worth the extra cost to be able to do this.

“Good value for money”

I have joined tesco diets twice before, first time i lost 3 stone in just over a year on the light choices plan. I have re joined as i have rhuematoid arthritis now and my medication causes weight gain, so to keep my weight under control i went back to tesco diets. Very good value for money, staff are availible if you want advice any time, or you can just get advice weekly on your weigh-in day. I like the choice of plans you get, and you can edit them. I like online dieting to weekly meetings, as its more convinient for me instead of going to regular meetings, i can just weigh in when i have time. The reward badge scheme they offer is a great incentive for you to lose weight, and the supportive advice they offer to you when things have or havent gone to plan is a big morale boost!!!

“Forty years of Dieting”

For someone that's been on a diet since age 16 I have finally made it thanks to Tesco's Diets. So thats nearly 40 years, basically playing with the same excess of 14 lbs, up and down, up and down, but I am determined this will happen no more. I have been to weight loss classes in the past and have achieved goal but I never stuck with it. Being a full time worker my time off is precious, and I didn't want to spend it queuing to weigh in when I could be at an exercise class! When I thought about it I knew that I had the will power but did need a bit of a helping hand. These have come to me via Tescos diets and my tablet computer as recording a food diary is so key in all this. I can even calculate whether its worth eating something before I do! So for minimal cost I can keep trim for he rest of my life, so worth every penny.

“Thank you to Tesco Diet plan”

The weight had gradually crept on over the years and I always intended to lose a few pounds but never made the effort to change. Seeing a really un-flattering photo of myself I opted for Tesco diets as the thought of attending a diet class or following a strict plan was quite daunting for someone who had never had to watch their weight or calorie count in the past. The first few weeks were difficult to say the least - analysing everything I ate and weighing my food portions to balance out the calories was all new to me not to mention avoiding my beloved chocolate and cake! However, with the support of the Mentor team and the ease of the website tools, it soon became really simple to stay within my daily allowances. I'm a fairly fussy eater so being able to track my food and adapt the menus to ingredients I actually like and eat provided an invaluable aid to ensuring my calorie and nutritional values were balanced and I could still include some of my sweet indulgences. Within 6 months I had lost almost 2 stone which I never thought possible and I would recommend Tesco Diet plan due to it's flexibility and support. No foods are banned as long as it's counted and in moderation and there's no guilty feelings over the occasional meal out or holiday away. Thank you Tesco Diet plan for giving me the support and encouragement to get back down to my ideal BMI range and feeling so much better about myself and how I look. People are commenting on my weight loss and it's a great feeling!

“Really makes a difference”

It simple to follow and can fit round all of your family. I have had bad week and good week but they have alway been there Helping me and encouraging me along the way. With simple to follow recipe . it easy to try some thing new and if you like something you can add it to you favourites so you can try it again. With other diets I found that I was eating the same things day in day out but with this I find that my diet has never been so varied. I also like being able to have it deliver to my door so no walking around the supermarket buying things that know I shouldn't . If your short on cash there's a budget session and there are plenty of family meals to help you save time and with just one click of a button you can adjust the amounts to the number you want to serve it to . With one click of a button you can track what you have eaten and change your meal all from the comfort of your own home

“Easy to use and effective diet plan”

This diet is so easy to use. The meal plans are generated for you, but it is flexible enough to let you change them to something that suits you. Its all about the meals and eating the right foods and not counting calories which I love. The feature I have found the most useful is the shopping list. After you create the meal plan, a shopping list is written. This has made my shopping so much more focused and faster. It also stops me looking at and buying those naughty treats! The proof of any diet is obviously in the scales and the numbers on might have been getting lower and lower as the weeks go by on this diet
