Bad Points: There is some waste if you are doing this on your own - you have to buy fish etc and then only use a small portion of it. In fairness most things can be frozen but some cannot.
General comments: Tesco Diet has nice, tasty quick recipes for evening meals, easy to order menu contents on-line and have it delivered at home, weekly weigh-ins, support from others on the same diet
I have a full day - I'm up at 6am and out with two very active dogs for an hour and half, then back, ready for work and spend a day chasing deadlines, to eventually get home at 7pm. I wasn't sure that this diet would work for me - but it has, and I've found it easy to follow. The menu plans are very flexible and you have the opportunity to add 'favourites' and remove anything you don't like. Its very early days to me - I'm only on my second week - but believe me if I can follow it, then so can anyone!

I am on the Totals plan with tescodiets. This is great for me and I am cooking for my other half and two adult children as well. Most days I would have the same as them for our main evevning meal but my portions would be smaller. I did do unislim a few years ago but I only had one class a week and you had to stay behind if you wanted to chat to the leader. I can email them at anytime and they have a chat line too. I have lost 7lbs so far and only have a few more to go so will keep at it.- Read Guest's review (119 words)

I joined yesterday and have asked for a refund but I don't think I'm going to get it. They've sent me an automatically generated email and have ignored my actual email.
Their recipes are not easy to follow and are confusing and in the advertising you get pictures of the meals with the recipes. You don't when you've actually signed up. You get a bland looking list of recipes that you can get from anywhere - all they do is count up your daily carbs for you.
You can click to order your week's sho ...- Read SueThomason's review (193 words)

I have tried Tesco Diets for a week now and find it really complicated and some of the suggested meals are plain bizarre - anyone for kidney bean curry or soup for your Saturday evening tea? Of course you can't cancel it so have just wasted £50.- Read Guest's review (66 words)

In order to express a fair point of view, I think it is only right to have actually tried the actual diet so I hope that certain reviews have not put people off as I can honestly say that if the plan is followed properly, you should notice a good weight loss. I have been on the Tesco GI diet now for just 7 weeks and have found it so easy to use and extremely effective. My starting weight was 10 stone, and I have lost 9lbs, which I am pleased with because with most other diets it would take me a ...- Read tracetrumps's review (474 words)

I have just finished with Tesco Diets, why - because I have lost 2 stone 4lbs woohooo! I joined back in August 2008 after trying a few different diets which just didn't seem to work or were just impossible to stick to. I tried everything at one time or another, so when I saw this online I thought that I would give it a go. I'd been to slimming clubs before and always hated the weighing in part. I felt patronised by the leader- maybe it was just my local club but it put me off the idea completel ...- Read CookieMum's review (285 words)

I joined Tesco diets just after Christmas and I think they are great. Yes they give you a meal plan, but you can add your own meals to it and remove ingredients too " very handy as I hate mushrooms. I get feedback & help every week when I weigh in " aswell as a new plan for the week ahead . Even better I can ask for all of this to be stuck in my tesco.com shopping basket. I record my weight in the morning, send my list off to be done on line there and then and when I check my .com at lunch ...- Read henchya's review (163 words)

I signed up today to tesco diets, and realised within the hour that it wasnt going to be suitable for me. that isnt to say the service isnt good for some - but i specifically wanted to record and monitor my measurements and have more flexible eating plan - this is very regimantal and there is no way of adding your own recipes etc - you have to follow one of their plans. The diet plans looked to be quite good
I contacted customer services by email within an hour of signing up to explain my mist ...- Read bergebabe's review (179 words)

It's really easy to follow, with lots of support, I've been a member for 2 and half years, I stay for the new recipes that they are constantly adding & for the community boards, everyone keeps me so motivated. I'd recommend it! So many meal plans to choose from, I'm really busy with work and socialising, but there is a meal plan for me!- Read Guest's review (91 words)

I joined up two years ago and lost nearly a stone in just four weeks. I had only attempted two diet plans before that - both of which worked for me but I put the weight back on over time.
I was very happy with the facility but did not use the online support system. Perhaps cos I'm a guy and like to think I can manage fine on my own!
I have gradually put the weight back on as I eat out far too much. I am considering returning to Tesco Diets to lose the excess weight before xmas. ...- Read Guest's review (204 words)

Tesco Diets - I was very disappointed to find out that after I had provided my bank account details to pay the membership another £20.00 was debited from my account for services I had not requested! However after I had paid for them they informed me that the services are optional! How can they be optional when they automatically added them to my account and debited payment? I requested my membership to be cancelled after 24 hours due to the fact I do not wish to give an organisation my bu ...- Read Guest's review (160 words)

It works. I've lost 1 stone 2lbs in 6 weeks, so I'm happy with it, and it has been very good - until last weekend! This diet site is one of several from a central company, I am very tempted not to renew, but, I have the suspicion that this would apply to any of the diet club sites on line, until they get these problems sorted. Well recommend Tesco Diet.co.uk.- Read Guest's review (102 words)

With Tesco Diet I experienced a huge amount of setup information and instructions. Menus on convenience plan appeared complicated to me. Totals plan (where you enter your own food) does not print off a shopping list so you have to pull together all the ingredients from the recipes. No link to online shopping so you have to print out and then enter. Asked to cancel when realised and was told I had to pay cancellation fee. I explained that I could not follow it and asked them to reconsider or refe ...- Read Guest's review (136 words)
