Hi, I have used tescodiets and slowly but steadily lost over 3 stone. the diet is about learning to eat regularly, think about when, why and what I eat. I love Tesco Diets. I love the fact that the site is easy to use and it does what it should do and what I want it to do. The meal plans are fantastic and the food is delicious - my kids love the recipes and get really excited about trying all the new things. I am loving this diet, the sheer amount of information available is great. I've never been on a diet that tells you the entire breakdown of your menu and with the ability to swap meals whenever you need to, it takes the hassle out of planning a weekly menu for the whole family. To be able to put everything straight into my shopping basket so I can collect it the next day is an added bonus. The Tesco Diet website is so easy to use, gives you your weekly diet sheets, trackers for food and exercise, great recipies, shopping list and great tips. What first attracted me to the site was the price. Compared to other diet sites it's extremely reasonable. Once I joined I was really pleasantly surprised at how much there is available to me with regards to menu planning, recipes etc. The weekly weigh in and personal email that you receive really makes you feel good, and you can see your progress on a chart. As a bloke i wasn't happy about "joining a diet club" so i wanted to do something that was for me that could track my progress and do it online. I finally decided to get some weight off instead of just talking about it, and chose the Tesco diet initially, as it was online. Have always struggled with dieting so was bit wary when signing up to tesco Diets online. Found it very easy to follow, the variety of menus was great, which also included a snack if I felt peckish. I got back to a weight that I was comfortable with in a few weeks. I also found it gave me extra encouragement by the daily tracking system. I've never really done diets. I didn't feel like I was really overweight, but I'd overindulged over Christmas, and have a wedding in July. I wanted to eat more healthily, and felt I had got stuck in a rut of 4 different meals rotating week on week. I have a double problem in that I am diabetic and cant eat dairy so I just floundered around unable to lose weight. I tried diet clubs but they seem to focus on foods I am unable to eat. Tesco Diet is definitely the easiest diet I have ever done [and that is many over a life time], as each week's menu is planned for you and meals/items can be swapped if you do not like something and I have only eaten the diet, no extras, as don't feel hungry. I lost over three and a half stone with the Tesco GI diet and the team are now supporting me trying to maintain my weight loss. They are always friendly and helpful. I find the diet recipes quick and easy to make and the thought of weighing in on a Wednesday stops me giving in to temptation. I have just completed my first week after trying and failing on the Slimming World online diet. I am SO pleased with Tesco diets. With amount of daily calories I have been allowed I thought I would have gained weight. I have lost 4 lbs, which is a very good start. I started this Tesco low gi diet out of desperation and I really wanted it to be rubbish but how wrong was I , there is nothing about this diet I don't like . I've struggled with my weight for a few years now and have never been successful wit diets, possibly due to thinking i was depriving myself of nice foods. I have been using Tesco Diets since July 2012 and by October 2012 I had lost an incredible 2 stone in weight. I have also managed to keep this weight off through following the diet since. It is so flexible it doesn't feel like a diet which is why it works for me, I don't cope with being deprived of tasty food! I'm in my 30's and never been on a diet before in fact, I have always been anti-diet but the start of this year saw me needing to make some big health changes. The food diary system it's really poor, you can not remove things you may didn't eat of your meal and do not gives you a realistic amount of calories consumed at the end of the day. Tesco Diet is easy to follow, any foods you don't like can be swapped or meals changed for another. The meals are filling and I don't feel hungry. I have lost weight every week. This is the only food plan I have followed where I have lost weight every single week. The support online is very good and I like the way everything is calculated for me, in terms of calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat. I have tried Weight Watchers and Slimming world, but have found Tesco diet on line easy to follow, no need to calculate your food, it is done for you. This is the 2nd time I have used Tesco diet and both times have been very affective, reaching my goal weight. Easy to use meal plan, that you can swap and change around. Once you get used to the layout, very user friendly, giving you not only lots of choices but a shopping list each week. I have tried loads of diets even the ones you go to every week for support,but nothing has worked until I joined the Tesco diet the first week I lost was amazing and I have never looked back. Over the years, I have tried various diets but with those other than Tesco EDiets, I have always felt hungry later in the day. I have found that I don't even need to have the whole of the meals as stated. My favourite for breakfast is Tesco Porridge made with water and then a little low fat sugar sprinkled over. I started my diet with Tesco OnLine Diets on 3 September 2012 and have lost 1st 7lbs so far. The plan is easy to follow and the meals are interesting and can be swapped or varied accordingly. You are encouraged to undertake regular exercise and given plenty of support by way of weekly feedback. Site seams a little confusing at first as there are so many diet options but it's easy to change them and questions are answered promptly. After the initial confusion, I got used to this and think it is a great layout and personal service, considering it is online. The first time I used Tesco Diets was back in 2008 - I lost nearly 2.5stone in 3 months. I kept the weight off until recently when I put 1 stone back on. I am now back on the diet and determined to get rid of those pesky pounds again - and as I was so successful last time I am sure I can do it. Tesco diets was recommended to me by a friend and I have to say it is one of the easiest plans to follow. My weight loss journey has been one where I have been up and down a little but the help and support has helped me get back on track. The mentors always have such a positive attitude and make helpful suggestions which encourage you to keep to the plan. Many thanks to you all. Tesco diets have been really supportive, with brilliant mentors giving personal feedback each week, and helpful tips along the way. The recipes are creative but not difficult to cook, and are nutritional and tasty. I will continue to cook some of them as I hopefully maintain my weight. The supportive way the staff help is probably, for me, the most effective part. Despite difficulties in staying with the totals plan at times, the staff have continued to support me on my journey. I love this diet, it's simple to use, their is a diet to suit everyone, from light choices to GI or gluten free or vegetarian. I have tried many diets over the years desperately trying to loose my baby pouch, but every time my motivation has died...... So I thought I would give it one more try and signed up to Tesco diets. When you select the “not for me” option you want, as you know you do not get to see the items in your meal plan again, however we do keep it in your swaps should you change your mind.
Nicola my colleague has asked Angela in IT to look at removing the items altogether as you have suggested.
If you would like to give me your user name we can look specifically at your items and meal plan.
There is an option on your meal plan to save items and your whole week's meal plan to your favourites.
The tools for these are in the meal tools next to your daily meals and the weekly option is in your quick links on the left of your meal plan page.

I particularly enjoy the Tesco diet becauxe it is completely impartial. I enjoy cooking and there is a fantastic data base of recipes. It is very encouraging to see that Tesco products are not been marketed at you. Fully trained nutrionalists and always speedy replies to any problems and encouraging as well. A job well done.
