First off, a horse is NEVER a pet and no matter what people say a horse is a working animal and needs to be ridden and exercised a decent amount every week. They make wonderful loyal friends and companions, hours of enjoyment and fun with them although they can be very expensive to keep especially if like mine they decide to destroy rugs, fences etc but it is well worth the money they make such loving companions and either gender is just as good as the other. A Horse is a fantastic mate. Love to be ridden well most of them! Grooming is a great way to bond. Cool way of transport. Poo can be used for gardens or sold!

Can be moody. Expensive to keep. Need constant care and attention. Obvious dangers of riding.
