“Loch Fyne Gift Vouchers”

Paid £2 admin to purchase a £50 Loch Fyne gift voucher. I expected the GV to arrive with a gift card and envelope. All that arrived was a voucher and advertising material. Given 1st class post is 60p, Loch Fyne have made a handsome profit on my purchase. Any high st store throw in the gift card and envelope for free. This is not what I call service. Will not bother with them again. (read more)

Loch Fyne is one of the best places to be. I love the choices offered in their menu. Moreover the eye-pleasing décor of the place also works to its advantage. I always have a good time at the restaurant. (read more)

“Great Food Excellent service”

I don't often leave reviews but every time I come away from Loch Fyne in Knutsford I am really content the food is always excellent and the staff are polite, friendly and make us feel welcome. Whether we are their for a romantic evening meal or a child friendly lunch with family the service is always exceptional. We have only ever had one bad meal and my husband mentioned he couldn't finish it, the chef came out immediately tasted the meal and agreed with us, they removed the item from... (read more)

On our visit to Ring O Bells West Kirby, 25 August 2010 we found a very nice exceptionally clean well laid out Restaurant with very friendly Staff. Prawn & Shrimp Starters very tasty to a very High Standard, Main Course Haddock Fish exceptionally tasty nice Batter with pure white Fresh Fish, well done! however, accompanyng CHIPS were limp & greasy. Portion size, only just about adequate, room for improvement on these two points as it did detract from our overall satisfaction. (read more)

Have been to this particular Loch Fyne restaurant in West Kirby a few times now but today I was on my own, something I was a bit dubious about! The staff were very friendly-attentive when required and very efficient. I was not the only one there eating alone either and I got the impression he was a regular! I was intending to eat off the cheap set menu but ended up going from the specials board. The smoked salmon mousse was delicious as was my main of fillet of bream served with braised... (read more)
