If you are staying on the Black Sea in Romania, the Hotel Europa in Eforie Nord is the best choice in a rather dismal area. The room rates we negotiated for were 89 Euros per night. Overall I would not recommend staying at the beach in Romania; the beaches are absolutely filthy. But the Hotel Europa in Eforie Nord is quite a nice place. The restaurants in the area are hit or miss, but we found several that were excellent. Overall I think my time would have been better spent in Bulgaria... (read more)
