Having looked at a lot of kennels before going along to Myreside Boarding Kennels it is definitely a cut above all the others we visited. As we have a rescue greyhound we were worried how he would settle in and were pretty anxious about leaving him to go on holiday. The staff are incredibly dedicated and go out of their way to take care of each dog's individual needs. Our dog is always well cared for and relaxed on our return and we have no hesitation in recommending these kennels as they are the very best we have come across.

My wife and I visited Myreside Kennels today (8/9/2009), with a view to using the kennels for our 3 Cairn Terriers. We have never used kennels before, and were naturally apprehensive. From the moment we spoke to a member of staff, and looked round the facilities, we realised that our dogs would be well looked after. The member of staff seemed a kind, caring and friendly person, and is obviously an animal lover. We are now very happy knowing that our dogs will be in a safe, clean and healthy envi ...- Read paulgibson's review (123 words)

Over all this kennel is like doggy heaven. The staff are sensible and friendly taking your dogs welfare into account at all times whilst allowing him the freedom to enjoy life to the full whilst you are away. You can relax and know your dog is in the best possible place. I do! And my dogs are my babies! They get so excited when we are driving down the driveway and when they see the staff.- Read usansa262's review (96 words)

Myreside Boarding Kennels made me feel at ease about leaving my dogs in their care.
Large family kennels, clean and well kept and heated.
There wasn't any problem about one of my dogs special diet they were on.
Came home very happy!
Need to make sure that you pre-arrange drop off and pick up times.
Dogs are walked off the lead so they may be out and about in the yard.- Read dunbar's review (113 words)

I have used the kennel a few times and every consideration for my 3 mad mutts were given. Owner and staff really enjoy having the dogs and fuss over them (great). I feel confident that they are secure and well looked after when I have to leave them.- Read Guest's review (77 words)

The staff at Myreside Boarding Kennels must love their work and the dogs. They are most trustworthy and treat your dog as their own. A good experience for any owner and pet!
My dalmation has just returned from the kennels after her 2nd visit and is in perfect order. When we went to collect her she was out playing with the other dogs and having a ball. We live in Aberdeen and the trip to Myreside is worth every mile!- Read Guest's review (86 words)

Myreside Kennel is a well run establishment.
Rex and Millie enjoyed their stay. They looked well and happy. It was obvious that the staff had built up a rapport with them and knew them well. Both dog's individual personalities were catered for.
I have no doubt when they return, that it will be a similar experience for them (fun, games and plenty of friends to run around with) and this is reassuring for the family to know, that our dogs are being cared for in such an attentive manner. Thank you t ...- Read Rex and Millie's review (140 words)

I have a Large Munsterlander who dislikes being shut in anywhere therefore I have always tried to avoid using kennels. However, I recently had no choice but to kennel him at short notice and chose Myreside because this web site mentioned that some of the staff have Munsterlanders. From the moment I arrived I knew I had made the right choice. On collecting my dog, Mack, and discussing his stay it was obvious that the staff had gone out of their way to make his time there as stress free as poss ...- Read waggotg's review (138 words)

We left our 8 year old Labrador for 3 weeks in February which was a worry as the weather is so miserable. However we were able to relax in the knowledge that she was really well cared for and comfortable in a warm kennel.
We returned to a very happy excited dog which was lovely. She looked like she had had a holiday too.- Read Guest's review (108 words)

I have a Great Dane and they are known to not fair well in kennels. My dog came back and is actually better around other dogs, socially. This is down to interaction between the dogs and the that that they are let to run and play and they are walked. Have tried other kennels and can safely say these can not be surpassed.
Well done Isobel and thank you for making blu's stay comfortable and fun. We'll be back.- Read blus mum's review (81 words)

Myreside Boarding Kennels, Dunbar are very very good, best kennels in Scotland. Our Border terrier Jake had a great time, and that was for 3 weeks! Will be using again and would not hesitate to recommend Myreside.- Read huttond's review (40 words)
