sent order on03/01/15 sent email on 13/01/15 got reply saying they will get in touch shortly 10 days later sent email to cancel and ask for refund wont deal with them again this is second time I have dealt with them, first time service great now no good they seam to lull you into thinking they are ok then don't bother when you order again. if not in stock why not say so

“AVOID THIS FRAUDLENT COMPANY”

Ordered Dyson motor and filters, promised same day dispatch then come up with excuses saying items have to be ordered in. A week later items were sent out, received a filter not genuine and not in any retail packaging and not even for the correct model. Their customer service is appalling and rude. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Ordered Kirby shampoo, when it did not arrive we contacted Sparesaver who assured us that it would be dispatched that day. further calls got similar stories of the stock having now arrived and would be sent out. We finally cancelled the order and had to contact Paypal to get our money back.

Now got product cheaper from Amazon

Used this site before and they were efficient and quick to deliver. this time i have ordered and paid for goods and not received them well over a week since ordering. contacts unobtainable.....no reply to email? have they gone bust?

“Wish I read the reviews”

I ordered my goods on 25th Aust 2012, wish I had read the reviews as no goods, emails returned and phone number unobtainable! Where do I go now money taken from my account? Seems I wont be seeing that again BEWARE!!!!!

I had the same problem. I paid thru Paypal, so raised a dispute.
PayPal contacted them and they emailed me 3 times in 1 day to apologise because their new system is not working.
They told me phone number not working either so we have to call them on 01634722220 as stated on their website!

“International buyers avoid”

Ordered replacement motor and filters for Dyson DC08 from Australia via Spacesaver website, money taken and order number given then later order cancelled without advice. Nothing delivered, no refund, no response from numerous emails.

Website over promises and under (doesn't) deliver. Does not live up to the glowing testimonials in the banner. Two weeks without the ordered part or a working hoover, and I have finally received confirmation from PayPal that a refund has been issued.

“Would not recommend as an internet company”

I wish I'd read the reviews on this site before I'd made my purchase. I bought a replacement hose for my Dyson (apparently genuine product). It starting splitting within a couple of months, my original hose lasted years!! I emailed sparesavers and had a delivery fail message so I don't know if you can contact them by email anymore (used email address from their website) so I rang and spoke to Aaron who told me to send it back and they'd have a look at it,as the hose is the main part of the vacumn I asked how long this would take and was told it could take several weeks. I have decided not to bother as from reading the recent reviews I doubt I would be sent either a replacement under warranty or my faulty one back if people are still chasing to have their money back. I don't know where to go with my complaint but I often wonder with internet companies if they are done from someones front room! I will definately check reviews on future internet businesses I deal with and wouldn't recommend this one.

“Miele Vacuum Head, slow delivery, terrible communications”

Ordered a turbo head for our Miele vacuum. Originally thought this would be good as it was a very competitive price. There then follwed..... very little at all. No real confirmation of where the order had got to. Cue phone call from my wife to be told 'all in hand, despatching soon'. More than a few days pass, before my wife rang again and demanded that the item be posted or that a refund would need to be issued immediately. The item arrived a few days later, in good order, but to be frank, who needs lousy customer service like this when so many companies get it right, without customers needing to get irate in order to get the product? In future, I would rather pay more and get the satisfaction of knowing that once paid for, an item will be delivered, when it is supposed to.

“BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!”

HISTORY: 27/02/12: Standard Miele dustbags ordered online. On/Around 02/03/12: No delivery & no update by email so telephone call to SpareSaver. Spoke to young lad 'Aaron' who went away for few minutes then told me 'awaiting stock delivery' to company. Order should be with me following Monday (5th March) On/Around 07/03/12: Still no delivery so rang again. Spoke to 'Aaron' and same response as above. He said will be with me 'following Monday'. 13/03/12: Still no delivery! Rang again and spoke to 'Aaron' who said still awaiting delivery and ...yes, another week! I said I wanted to cancel order and get a refund (SpareSaver have had my money since 27th Feb!) He said he wasn't 'authorised to make refund and that has to 'go through supervisor, who is too busy too speak to customers'. I said I wanted confirmation in writing by email that my refund was being processed. I was assured of this but never received it. 20/03/12 No refund or email received. I rang, yet again, and spoke to Aaron yet again. I was firm and was put through to a 'Barry' who didn't introduce himself as 'Supervisor' and was very curt and didn't seem to care. He said I would 'get money back via PayPal today'. This company seems to not care about the Customer or the service they provide. I have gone back to my original on-line supplier (e-spares) who I would recomend. I ordered on the 17th and got my delivery on the 19th (and that is with standard postage - you can pay for next day delivery) I will NEVER use this company again. It's not just the delivery delay, things sometimes go wrong and we accept that, but the way my enquiries were dealt with were at best unprofessional and at worst incompetant and uncaring. BEWARE YOUR MONEY. I HAVE YET TO GET MY REFUND! (This is why I am publishing my review anonymously)

“Is this company trustworthy?”

I ordered a DC01 soleplate on the 14th December 2011 and got an email confirmation from sparesaver.com. However nothing arrived and I contacted the company in January. They said the item was unavailable even though it was still on their website and agreed to refund my money. It is now the end of March and despite more phone calls I am still waiting for the refund. I will have to go to my credit card company and see if they will refund the money. Life is too short for this sort of hassle. In my experience internet sales are built on trust - we expect that the company does what it says. They may make a mistake but it needs to be corrected. Several other postings speak of the same situation so unhappily I must add my voice to say that this is a company to avoid. In future I will be more alert to check up on a new company through any review sites before I place an order.

“Substandard Dyson unbranded replacement hose”

I saw the Sparesaver site was advertising replacement Dyson hose as good as the genuine item but much cheaper. So I ordered the unbranded hose When it arrived and I put it onto the Dyson, as I wrapped the hose around the hose tidy, the bottom hook bent upwards slightly. Over the next month as my wife used the vacuum cleaner the hose bottom hook became weaker and bent further. Finally after a month or so the hook factured along its top join and the hose tidy was not useable any more. I telephoned Sparesaver and explained what had happened and the man I spoke to said it sounded like a manufacturing fault. I looked online at the genuine hoses and I could tell that there is a large support under the hook. On the unbranded hose the support was almost non existant So I obtained a returns number and sent the hose back. The company replied after about a week, stating that, in their opinion the hook had been broken through undue excesive force and they refused to refund me. I have requested twice more that they return my money. They ignored me once and repeated their claim against me after my second request. I am now raising proceedings against Sparesaver to recover my costs.

“Dyson Spare”

Ordered a spare for Dyson, a wand handle, on 15th May. 7th July: still not here despite countless phone calls and emails. Yesterday asked them to cancel order and provide a refund, sending me an email to confirm. They didn't send the email and on phoning today found they hadn't cancelled order either! So they have our £29.99 and we still don't have a wand handle. I have rarely come across such an incompetent company whose customer service is inept.
