“Very poor customer service! ”

Absolute joke. Will never buy from them again... Just not worth the hassle. I bought a pair of shoes at £55.99 plus P&P of £3.99. Took two weeks for delivery and they sent the wrong shoes! Had to return them at my own expense of £8! They finally refunded the £55.99, but never bothered their arse refunding all the postage (despite claiming they would). So I am now £11.99 down for a fault they made and have no bloody shoes! Useless company, definitely will never use again!

“Route One - my saviours”

Having been ripped off by Kates Skates (http://www.reviewcentre.com/Online-Sporting-Goods-Shops/Kates-Skates-www-kateskates-co-uk-review_1443648), I telephoned Route On and they answered the call immediately and the representative was able to confirm that they actually had the item in stock (Kates Skates can learn a lit from these guys). I cancelled my order with Kates Scammers and called back to place the order with Route One. The lady was courteous and the process was quick and simple. The order was dispatched the same day as promised and I am now in possession of the said scooter. I couldn't praise Route One high enough since they saved my day and I now have my nephew's highly desired Christmas present. Thanks very much.

“Absolutely would recommend 100% to anyone”

I first came across Route One when I was looking for a Grit scooter for my son for Christmas that seemed to be out of stock everywhere. Their website said they were in stock so I thought I'd give them a call to make sure they weren't on pre-order. I ordered over the phone - totally painless - and the scooter arrived the next day. My other son had also asked for a JD Bug scooter for Christmas which was more readily available so a couple of days later I ordered it through Route One's website. Again, totally painless and the scooter turned up the next day (free delivery). I also got cashback through quidco = bonus! A week or so after that I was looking for some small gifts for my sons to give to their friends for Christmas and Route One came up trumps again. The items were out of stock in most shops but again I got cashback through quidco and also a free delivery code. Delivery was supposed to take 5-7 days. I ordered on Wednesday night, they were delivered on Friday. I rarely write reviews on the internet but Route One have really impressed me over the last couple of weeks, and no, I don't work for them. Would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use again.

“Excellent shopping experience with Routeone”

Two of my boys (12yo and 9yo) are becoming avid skateboarders. They've torn through several cheaper skateboards and with Xmas approaching I thought I'd treat them both to a sweet professional board and set up that they can build themselves, with Dad's help, of course. Never having been a skateboarder in my younger years, I had no idea where to start but the experience on Routeone made it simple to select all of the right parts, and at a good price. I completed my order at around 14:30 on the Thursday and the parcles arrived the very next morning, just before I left for work. When I returned home I opened the parcels to find the boards and parts packaged perfectly with several layers of bubble wrap around the whole kit. Roll on Xmas morning ;) Thank you Routeone.

“Execllent online shopping Experience”

I was a little hesitant to use this website after seeing some bad reviews, but on further investigation and reading them in full realised it was worth giving this website a try. I ordered a backpack and socks combo for my son at 2.30pm, selected next day delivery (£5.99) and received the item on the next day at 8.50am. It may look like delivery was fairly pricey, but overall it wound up cheaper that the £27.98 (£22.99 for the backpack and £4.99 for 3-5 day delivery)all in I would have had to have paid had I bought the same item on Amazon, and this backpack also included 3 pairs of branded socks! All in all I saved £9.00 and received socks too. Very happy with this website and would definitely use again

My old Baker deck was worn and so i decided to look around in an attempt to find a good quality deck at a good price. After little searching i found www.routeone.co.uk and began to look at some of their products. I went in the sale section and found plenty of items at a good price. I came across an Enjoi Joso Rojo Signature 7.5 Deck for £29.99 with FREE grip tape. The deck has an RRP of £49.99 and i was suprised to find a deck so cheap. I order it and put in on standard delivery (up to 5 days) and it arrived on the 5th day (which suited me fine as it was one time) and from then on i have rated RouteOne very highly. If i were you i would simply ignore some of these bad reviews as i never had a problem with Routeone. Good prices, fast delivery, and also i think i forgot to mention that is was very well packaged! Overall a good place to buy your skateboard items, happy shopping!

“Appalling. ”

Appalling.

When I purchased the shoes I explained that we had moved house, company then carried out further checks and cancelled the order. No communication because their process does not allow any communication. Wife and kids waited for the order. Absolute shambles DO NOT USE. Ebay is cheaper for most things.

If there were to be Fraud checks then this should be highlighted with the consequences clearly indicated.

I had exactly the same experience some other people had. Waiting for the shipping that is already late, no replies to emails, no information that allows me to track and follow the package!! Really poor service, do NOT buy here. I had much better experience with FlatSpot and other shops, this one is terrible.

“Route One has without doubt the worst customer service...”

Route One has without doubt the worst customer service I have come across so far.

My ordered was dispatched, but after 2 weeks I still did not receive anything (Note: I am in The Netherlands, goods from the UK usually take 4-6 days to arrive). I decided to send Route One an email, asking for an update and tracking code. Three days later, I had not received an answer, so I emailed them again. A day later, still no answer. I decide to post a note on their Facebook wall, and within a few hours I am told that 'we have tried to contact you regarding the status of your order'.

I send another email, and at last - a reply. They give me the tracking number and it appears that the courier has tried to deliver the package twice, but I was not at home. No note was left behind either. The package was about to be returned to the sender, but I phoned them just in time and arranged another delivery date.

I understand it is not just Route One to blame in this case, but I do feel they greatly lack in customer care. I will not order again in the future.

Very pricey delivery at nearly £6 for next day from route one. Chose next day and it did not arrive. Called them on the delivery day and they said the parcel had been dispatched. Called the next day to say it had not arrived and they tried to first argue that it wouldn't be next day if I ordered after 3pm. When I pointed out they had said it had been dispatched and that when I ordered on the phone this was never mentioned they said they didn't know why it hadn't arrived but it would be delivered today between 9am and 7pm! Didn't even offer a refund on the shipping so told them not to bother. Have bought same product with Kates Skates, same price but same delivery is free. Route One I would not use again.

£6 for next day delivery on a pair of snowboarding boots (quite heavy) is really reasnoble in my opinion - and I've shipped boots before so I know how much they usually cost for normal first class... a lot more than that!
Most online companies operate on the basis that any order placed after a certain time (usually around 2pm) will be dispatched the next day - perhaps when you phoned you weren't that clear about what time you made the order?
I can see other bad reviews which seem pretty well justified, but this one I think is a bit OTT!

I have purchased from Route One quite a few times over the last 3 years and although there have been occasional problems, usually with the delivery times, it has never put me off ordering again.
When I did not get my new skateboard (last year) in the time that they said, I phoned the customer services number and they assured me it was on it's way after some problems with Parcelforce. It came the next day so I was happy, and Route 1 gave me my delivery charge back, which was great.
In all, the online shop seems to be getting better the more I use it, more stock, and less hassle every time.

The Route One online shoe shop are just not on the ball. The price was great, but the shipping let them down, and they never responded to any of the emails I sent asking whether they had dispatched the shoes.
