I thought I could use this Prime Payment Card for internet use but found out that every time i did they charged me up to 20% every time and plus they charge you for money on it at the shop as well so if you put £10 on you are left with about £9.50 and when you use it on internet you can only spend about £8.00 coz they charge you for using the internet as well.

Hidden costs! When I made a purchase using Google checkout, Prime charged me £1.50 authorisation fee. Google say this is not charged to my account, and is simply a "test" to check the account has funds and is active. It is refunded to the card. However, Prime don't refund the charge, and they also charge a transaction fee for this. So to use this card to make one £50 payment cost me £2.50 in fees!!

In summary the Prime Payment Debit Card is a very troublesome card, and very costly to use. Not only are you continually asked for more funds to continue using your card, but I found the day to day charges very high, not to mention the initial cost of the card. I dumped this card after about 6 weeks. Customers have to pay to use the card more than once, and once you have reached the payment limit the card stops working. I then had to phone them and ask why, and they then asked me for another fee ...
