I started a new item for the 1250 in .22 cal because it is a completely different animal in .22 cal. It is slower but more powerful, and accurate. I will explain in .177 cal you will get an average of 1230 fps with 7 grain pellets (occasionally 1250 fps hence the name) that works out to 23.5 foot-pounds. In .22 cal with 14.3 grain pellets I get an average of 940 fps that works out to 28.0 foot-pounds. It's not the extra power that accounts for the accuracy it is the slower speed. The speed of so ...
