Good Points: looks good and i love the shiny outering. the touch pad may take long to get used to but is very cool. and of course like all samsungs it is very easy to use

Bad Points: well were can i start? maybe the camera - a shocking 1.3mp and it is impossible to take a unblared photo, however phones are not really for taking pictures with so you should buy a camera. its battery life is about one day which compared to other phones is poor. the inbuilt memory is shocking and can only hold up to 4 songs at the maximum, you then have to buy a 2gb memory card at the max, however when you listen to music on it, it doesnt roll onto the next song it stops, until you select another one. so all in all a poor music phone

General comments: The Samsung J600 is dissapoingting. a good size, looks pretty good and the touch pad is cool the camera is rubish though

i don't like this Samsung J600 phone because it is a horrible colour and somtimes and has a very small mermory and it doesn't come with a memory card so i had to go out and buy one.The camera isn't that good because when you first go on it the quality is poor and i worked out a year later that you could change the focus on it and i looked in the hand book and it didn't tell me how i could change the quality.I liked the way it was easy to find things eg. music, video.

The Samsung J600 has poor battery life. Bad sound. Ease of use for texting very poor. Touch sensitive buttons are awful. I've been using mobiles for about 15 years, and of the modern batch, this is far and away the worst I've had. Not a day goes past that I don't regret getting it. I wouldn't have, if there'd been a Nokia in the shop. The hinge broke on my old Nokia flip phone, (after 4 years) so I thought I'd try this slide phone. It is the most user-un-friendly phone ever. txt symbols are ha ...

In my experience there are no good points with the Samsung J600 Mobile Phone, the first time I dropped it the screen went blue and I had to send it back to Samsung for repairs. Second time I dropped it I accidentaly stood on it and the inner screen broke... therefore this phone for me is not reliable and I do not recommend it.

I have owned 2 Samsung phones prior to buying the J600 and loved them both. However the J600 is easily the worse phone I have ever owned. The touch sensitive buttons are terrible. And I can scarcely believe that someone has had the cheek to praise its battery life. It DOES NOT give 12 hours of standby time. (Although the spec sheet claims it does. But being able to read a tech spec. and actually having really experienced something are completely different ). 12 minutes would be nearer to the t ...

It's a shame Samsung don't use a SINGLE charger across it's product range. The phone does exactly what I want it to do - make calls and send texts and send/receive a few pics too. It fits in my pocket, battery lifetime is reasonable (considering the size of battery) - my Nokia 3500i lasted lots longer, but the battery was much bigger...Camera is only 1.3M, but hey, I've a decent dSLR for pics I want in high quality.I don't regret buying this phone - it does just what I want. ...

The Samsung J600 is the worst phone I ever had. It may look good but the touch buttons are terrible. Constant redial of last number and unwanted expensive web connections. The interface is not intuitive, even for an experienced Samsung user. Who designed this phone and wrote the software? The camera with apparently has 1.3 Megapixels, is as useless as on my old VGA phone. Got myself a nice Motorola flip phone, which is very handsome, has an intuitive interface and is easy to use. Don ' t get the ...

The Samsung J600 is a slim and compact phone. Found easy to use. OK for the money but ring tones not as good as Nokia.

The Samsung SGH-J600V is one of the latest products to be launched and delivers a whole lot more for your dollar than any mobile which I can think of. Packed with features and also supports a micro SD card slot for extra memory, a USB connection that connects directly to your Notebook, and also headphones which deliver excellent sound quality.Download music and pictures, store files, listen to the FM radio, record speeches, take photographs, record a video and listen to MP3's !Have lots and lo ...

Samsung J600? Not worth £60, you may as well just get a low range Nokia that only texts and phones people... The Samsung J600 is hard to use, poor camera and i can go on... the most disappointing thing is that the person who sold it to me said it would be compatible with vista - it isn't! Don't buy it! If you are a fan of songs this will be a huge let down as the program to add files has not even worked!

The Samsung J600 has an amazing battery life, you can leave it on stand by for up to 12 days!A really cool, stylish colour and brand along with 6 games an mp3 player with radio and bluetooth. Only £50.00 (on sale) on virgin pay as you go (I'm not too sure I ordered it on 12.4.08.)! Over all....AMAZING! The best phone really stylish colour it's a must have!

The Samsung J600 is a stylish looking phone. Very light and compact but a nightmare to use. The touch sensitive buttons seem like a good idea but are a nightmare to use. Even after four months use I am still accidentally deleting texts because the central joy stick control is too close to the delete button. Similarly it is too easy to dial people accidentally. The ringtones are very basic but you can use downloaded tones and assign different tones to your contacts. This facility is not available ...

Only £50, and a great value phone. Touch sensitive buttons take a while to get used to but apart from that, 10/10! Well done Samsungfor the J600. It is easy to carry, the only thing is I can't bear to take it out in case I drop it! Very slick and shiny, I got it in pink and it is gorgeous!

My advice to anyone considering buying the Samsung J600 is to try it in the store. Get the sales staff to let you try it first, and do not be overwhelmed by its glamour. It is not easy to use. I think it this case Samsung have been just too clever for their own good. After several years of using Nokia's, this phone required a whole new mind-set to operate. At one point I was set to throw it in the bin as it was not obvious where various functions were and far too easy to return the idle sta ...
