I'm pretty savvy when it comes to cancelling free trials and reading the small-print.. so have been pleasantly surprised with the Credit Expert website.

It's a shame I had to pay for a full credit score, but this was quite helpful and it was only a £6 one-off charge and will be getting my boyfriend to do the same (as we'll be looking to apply for a mortgage soon.)

I phoned up to cancel my free trial today - got through straight away and my account was cancelled immediately. No problems!

Keep clear of credit Expert Online!! I went looking for a credit review on myself and somehow I unknowingly signed up to pay them £6.99 every month. They took two months payments (£13.98) before they cancelled my credit card "subscription", plus the £5.95 that i agreed to pay for the credit report. I have tried relentlessly to get this back but as an organisation are cowboys in the true sense. Do yourself a favour and dont get caught in the trap like me.

Credit Expert Online Credit report is free for 30 days. After 30 days, found it hard to see how to cancel my Credit Expert Online Credit report account. When I clicked on 'how to cancel' , it just said 'before you decide to cancel ....' Emailed them to cancel but they still charged £6.99 a month. Apparently in terms and conditions you have to ring to cancel even though on the 'contact us' link it only shows an email account. Now I can't find terms and conditions on the website. Beware ...

I would not recommend this service. Although the data that is given is useful, before the end of my free try I contacted them to cancel my membership. I was told at the time that my membership had been cancelled and I would not be charged. I have since contacted them regarding this and was told that I had no proof that I had phoned up to cancel and that I would not be refunded the amount.
My advice don't use this company it seams to me that they make their money taking some money of everyone in ...

CreditExpert is a company that provides credit reports for individuals wanting information about their credit scores, and therefore their likelihood of being lent money or rejected.

I paid a fee of 6.95 in order to access an account (and therefore my credit report). After that the customer you get a 30-day trial period and then a deduction is made from your account on a monthly basis.

The credit report, when given is long, but only mildly informative. You are given a credit rating which ca ...
