    Good Points: The lens is sharp, sharp, sharp. It is contrasty and is good from wide open on down. The build quality is great, the finish is great and it is the one prime telephoto to use for most general shooting.

    Bad Points: The price is a little steep but I feel it is worth it.

    General comments: I bought this lens in spite of having a great 80-200 2.8 D Nikon lens. I bought it for the speed and sharpness. It is not an overly heavy lens and balances well on my F5. I would recommend this lens to anyone.
