General comments: The Fox stratos 7000E is a compact reel that is designed primarily for smaller waters, controller fishing or specimen barbel and tench.
With 9 ball bearings these powerful reels have excellent line lay and are built to last.
The quality of the fully adjustable freespool facility and precision front drag set them apart from the competition.
A slow oscillation means line lay is superb which improves casting potential as well as promoting greater line longevity.
Two line reducers are supplied: a standard one and minimiser for lower diameters or braid.
Approx 85% of the size of the 10000
I found this reel to be very powerful when handling mid range carp. I fish mainly on commercial waters, and loaded this reel with 10lb line. The line sits very nicely indeed and the lay is very good when under retrieval.
I would value this reel as the best possible choice when looking to spend no more than £50 GBP on a solid bait runner.
Go get one if your thinking of an upgrade.
Excellent.
