Had one for awhile now , no problems at all , firend got one few months back too , again no problems and works for us both , cheap for what you get but you wouldnt tell , we have the DD eonon 1012 :)

Shockingly poor quality. Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 Looks nasty and performed worse.

Everything stopped working, one fail after another.

Picture was poor sound even worse.

Poorest customer service of any retailer.

Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 is great, exellent customer service, and postage took under 5 days, very surprised! Thanks for the salesman have told me how to use Paypal step by step for the first time. I really enjoy using this cute HU! I wanna recommend to many friends around me, and also through facebook and myspace!

So far so good. I've got this Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 for almost one year. I saw that one said the TV didn't work from the first day, but I strictly follow the instructions and it just work as expected.

Very fast delivery(Only 3 days) for my Eonon player,
Perfect package,
Great and quick communication with customer service.

For this price, you won't find better one than this. The sound quality and screen are fine, bluetooth works well. But it's better if it can compatible with iPhone. It's a pity!
I've introduced to my friends since it's quite worth the money!

Bought Eonon 7" DVD player - it failed so asked me to return. cost me additional money for shipping and uninstalling the unit. Second unit came - the LCD panel has no light. Again, asked me to send and guess what they sent me the LCD - in 4 days gone, soyonara, caput!!

the eonon dvd player is quite good during 2 years of using. Have met a little problem once, but after consulting their after sale service, they help to solve the problem with patience immediately. Generally speaking, Eonon is reliable.

Dont do it.

Volume has given up the ghost and the rotary knob to control theEonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 just doesnt work.

Am going to buy a seperate dvd player without screen and buy a screen so that the quality is better

You pays your monies and takes your choice, this was a bad one!!!

The Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 was the worse piece of junk ever. Everything is working but sound quality is extremely poor. My factory stereo 4x7.5watts sounded better !!!There customer service is a disaster. I received some funny e-mails from themIt took some mods on my dash till I fit it ( due to their custom size ) The menu is user unfriendly even after 2 months. The screen is getting so hot, I have to turn it off every 30 min. to cool off.

I will never advise anyone to purchase this brand of player. Mine worked for 3 days after installation "no disc". check their forums and see for yourself. I found the Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 to be a terrible product and has even worse tech support and customer service...............

Well it seems i am the only one with no complains against the eonon ( so far )

it all works as expected ( from a cheap product tho )

The only problem i have is that i cant play any video file
(dvd , vcd m cd all ok )
I tried divx but it wont , divx 3 , 4 ,5 nothing
Shouldnt higher version of divx be compatible with lower ones ?)

Or maybe a special format for video is required ?

Any suggestions ?

you are better of buying a good mp3 cd player with no screen or even just buy a portible dvd player rather than an Eonon.

Poor graphics - I mean, ugly! Very convoluted menu to navigate through - Get off the road to change stations and volume, or switch to CD format. Extremely fussy - regularly gives a 'bad disc' message and refuses to play a disc that only yesterday worked fine. Terrible TV reception. Ridiculous remote. Poor sound.

Units fail after 2 days if not DOA (dead on arrival). Issues vary from touchscreen non working, screen becomes blank, so sound, cannot play DVD, even sent unit without NTSC TV system even technical specs mentioned supports both PAL and NTSC - all they say is sorry and return the items. What about the installation cost and the cost of returning, these are borned by customers.

TV not working, sound no picture only one station, tried proper aerial no difference. Keeps loosing memory, have to retune every couple of days. Bluetooth doesn ' t connect to phone although says so on screen. GPS very poor and quite a distance out. Now after 4 weeks it has decided to lock off, only way to clear it is to unplug it and plug it in again and retune, this happens every time the ignition is switched off.

Eonon 901 Unit in dash DVD FM radio GPS Bluetooth analog TV tuner. The TV failed to work on first day of use. Picture but No sound and no instructions on how to set it up if that was possible. Errors in Instruction book. GPS poor quality graphics, lousy resolution on 7 inch screen, look like they would be just about passable on a mobile or PDA . I bought this product for my son for Christmas. He had it installed last week. Everything worked great.....FOR ONE DAY. The next day he couldnt get any volume. He took it back to where he had it installed and was told the product was faulty. Apparently one of the components in it malfunctioned. He was told that he should try and return it and buy a DVD player with a reputable name. Never again! Spend the extra money and get a quality product.

A budget item at a budget price , but let down badly buy cheap poor quality circuitry. So the old saying you get what you pay for certainly fits my experience with this in car entertainment system.
