This is my third in dash touchscreen cd/dvd player i bought off ebay.They products look good and picture quality are good but they are not made to last.All three of them quit on me.The one i currently i have in my car right now is not playing dvd or cd any more and connection to my ipod is not working properly so i'm force to listen to radio. I am staying away from eonon products and get a real brand name one.its waste of $$$$ (read more)

i bought a in car lcd off ebay, everything on their end, perfect, however they need to get into touch with DHL Australia. they left my package in a parcel box out the front of a property 15 kilometers from where i live. the package was not signed for, and was sitting there for a week before a good citizen sought me out to deliver it. i am lucky to have received it in good condition as it rained twice in the past week. the package was left on the 29th October and dropped off to me on the 8th... it definitely deserves recommend! cheap price with all high end function, bluetooth, ipod, iphone, digital screen, steering wheel, GPS. And still last for long, i've been having it for nearly half year, works fine! 1/3 the money of pioneer but with full funtion of it, even have a better sound quality. Nowadays, every one says "you will get what you pay for", but Eonon give more than you expected. (read more)

There aren't enough star choices to explain these units. Secondly, there isn't just "one" 7" ice unit. In fact they have been making them for years and they have many revisions.
I have a e858 or something and it's not total junk. I snagged it for 130 AUD delivered. It's good for that price and well up there in sound quality. In fact you can't really go too wrong with sound quality if you use the RCA outs and then amplify it.
However the ipod connections are terrible. It actually plays...

Just got my Eonon, I like it! Specs/build quality looks good on the site so i snagged it. I'm doing is a full blown budget build and it seemed to fit the book. I can say the companies customer service is good so far, they shipped it the next day I ordered. lol (read more)

Shockingly poor quality. Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 Looks nasty and performed worse.
Everything stopped working, one fail after another.
Picture was poor sound even worse.
Poorest customer service of any retailer.

Perfect package,
Great and quick communication with customer service.
For this price, you won't find better one than this. The sound quality and screen are fine, bluetooth works well. But it's better if it can compatible with iPhone. It's a pity!
I've introduced to my friends since it's quite worth the money!

Volume has given up the ghost and the rotary knob to control theEonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 just doesnt work.
Am going to buy a seperate dvd player without screen and buy a screen so that the quality is better

The Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 was the worse piece of junk ever. Everything is working but sound quality is extremely poor. My factory stereo 4x7.5watts sounded better !!!
There customer service is a disaster. I received some funny e-mails from them
It took some mods on my dash till I fit it ( due to their custom size ) The menu is user unfriendly even after 2 months. The screen is getting so hot, I have to turn it off every 30 min. to cool off.

I will never advise anyone to purchase this brand of player. Mine worked for 3 days after installation "no disc". check their forums and see for yourself. I found the Eonon 7" DVD Divx ICE TV MP3 to be a terrible product and has even worse tech support and customer service............... (read more)

Well it seems i am the only one with no complains against the eonon ( so far )
it all works as expected ( from a cheap product tho )
The only problem i have is that i cant play any video file
(dvd , vcd m cd all ok )
I tried divx but it wont , divx 3 , 4 ,5 nothing
Shouldnt higher version of divx be compatible with lower ones ?)
Or maybe a special format for video is required ?
Any suggestions ?

Poor graphics - I mean, ugly! Very convoluted menu to navigate through - Get off the road to change stations and volume, or switch to CD format. Extremely fussy - regularly gives a 'bad disc' message and refuses to play a disc that only yesterday worked fine. Terrible TV reception. Ridiculous remote. Poor sound. If you are on a severe budget, you are better off saving your money and buying quality. It came in a car I just bought and goes to the landfill shortly - I mean, you must put... (read more)

Units fail after 2 days if not DOA (dead on arrival). Issues vary from touchscreen non working, screen becomes blank, so sound, cannot play DVD, even sent unit without NTSC TV system even technical specs mentioned supports both PAL and NTSC - all they say is sorry and return the items. What about the installation cost and the cost of returning, these are borned by customers. (read more)

TV not working, sound no picture only one station, tried proper aerial no difference. Keeps loosing memory, have to retune every couple of days. Bluetooth doesn ' t connect to phone although says so on screen. GPS very poor and quite a distance out. Now after 4 weeks it has decided to lock off, only way to clear it is to unplug it and plug it in again and retune, this happens every time the ignition is switched off. (read more)

Eonon 901 Unit in dash DVD FM radio GPS Bluetooth analog TV tuner. The TV failed to work on first day of use. Picture but No sound and no instructions on how to set it up if that was possible. Errors in Instruction book. GPS poor quality graphics, lousy resolution on 7 inch screen, look like they would be just about passable on a mobile or PDA . I bought this product for my son for Christmas. He had it installed last week. Everything worked great.....FOR ONE DAY. The next day he couldnt get any volume. He took it back to where he had it installed and was told the product was faulty. Apparently one of the components in it malfunctioned. He was told that he should try and return it and buy a DVD player with a reputable name. Never again! Spend the extra money and get a quality product. (read more)

TV Reception is ALWAYS poor on the Eonon DVD DivX (but I suspected this) and often you have to convert your DivX and Xvid files to a particular format.
Security of the device is also very tricky.
The touch screen system doesn't work well. The software on the system is very poor and it seems to get confused when you switch between the remote control and the unit itself.
Overall -> Avoid, I have learned the hard way. It's much better to go for a recognised name and product for this type of device.

I found this review very helpful because i am going to buy Eonon, nowadays, it is seen everywhere on the internet, on google, on auto forums, and it is very famous for its good price.
<br/>However, price is important though, shold get it worth, after reading this review, i am so confident with my choise, i just want to bring some music in my car, more entertaiment, not that much expectation on watching movie like in a cinema, so eonon will be a good choose in the end.
