    We are about to return for our fifth visit to Appledore and our second visit to West Apartment West Quay House. We really wouldn't be anywhere else. The owner has been more than helpful and accomodating - even to the pint of helping us arrange out secret wedding in Appledore! Comfortable, clean, beautiful view, great location, supremely relaxing. Can't think of any bad points!

    Loved just sitting on leather chairs looking out to sea. No better view in Devon this is the best place you could be. Amazing just watching the ships go past the windows. Lovely meals in the local pubs. ( child friendly ).

    Would recommend this property to anyone seeking a relaxing family holiday only a few yards from waters edge. You can sit in the window and watch your children playing on the sand.
    (Nothing to much trouble for the local rep)

    I felt moved to write this review having read the previous entry. I have stayed at West Quay House at least 6 times in the last 5 years and have been accompanied by a variety of friends and family, young and old.
    There is plenty to do round and about to keep them all amused, but I recommend sitting in the top lounge and enjoying the view.
    The property is spotless. It is not a new build, it was an old pub, amongst other things, so don't come here expecting laminate flooring.

    I will not stay here again.
    It is very expensive and represents nil value for money in my opinion.
    We left after only one night.
