Good Points: Quite a few years ago, I read about a Beeman air rifle used by a sniper in a James Bond novel. It is a fact that the authors of these books do exhaustive research on their topics and are quite accurate in their descriptions and details. I was surprised to find one in a display case at a local Canadian Tire store. Of course, being in Canada you can't own a high powered one unless you have a PAL. I bought it without hesitation. Right out of the box this gun felt "right". Nice weight, nice balance and nice looking. After a few cracks in the back field and adjusting the scope a bit, this gun leaves me wanting something better... Not because it's bad! Because it's so consistently good it's become almost boring. Not enough to stop me from pounding off about 100 pops a day. At greater distances to increase the challenge!
Bad Points: none. period.
General comments: I've been shooting since I was 12 years old.
I remember getting my very first air rifle. I don't have a clue where it came from or what brand it was. I know it was in Europe.
The feeling I had holding this first gun was repeated with the purchase of this Beeman.
I just stood there, holding this beautiful piece of equipment.
This excellent gun will give me consistent groupings of 5 at 100 ft.
Yes I can cover them with a quarter!
Doors are nickel and dime......targets are quarters.
Someone told me that years ago....
(you have to be a carpenter to understand the door thing..)
In short, if you are an avid shooter, or someone who likes to plink so now and then, this gun is for you!
BUY IT!!!
You absolutely cannot go wrong !
