Good Points: built for comfort and distance, ive had her from new and shes been in a few scrapes, but she survived!!
Comfy seat!unlike alot,i can do long journeys and im not feeling battered at the end! :D

Bad Points: hmm...cant actually think of any,,would be good if it went faster, but shes fast enough really

General comments: I have had my Kawasaki 500 for 3 years, and its brilliant, ive ridden lots of bikes, but this 1 has never let me down,i moved to Spain, and my bike came with me,and it is perfect for these roads out here

I am really enjoying riding the Kawasaki KLE500. Have been riding for 42 years. Have sports bikes and tourers. Bought this bike to have some fun with the passes in Southern Africa. Had a look at quite a few on/off road bikes. Looked at BMW 650 KLR650 tried them and decided on the KLE500

First trip out, went up and down Sani Pass in one morning . Bike was great , light and easy to ride even with all my camping gear on. Did another 600 kms on dirt the next day. Then had to do another 400 kms on ...

The Kawasaki KLE 500 is the best buy ever bought. Only extra money spend was for improving the drivers seat. Good displacement(500cc) , good speed limits , easily riden , light bike, fuel tank 15 lts is just fine , (at least for me) can ride for 200 km and cheap maintence.

Bought a Kawasaki KLE 500 in March this year as a change to owning sports bikes I only ever had one dual purpose machine before a Honda dominator and liked it thats why I bought the kle 500 easy to run tax and insure not very powerful but seems to do everything I expect of it.

I switched to this from a 4 cylinder sports bike and while its not got the same performance...I'm getting more riding done...and more smiles per mile. Its light, easy to ride and economical.
If you want a bike to ride a lot...and not polish a lot....its great.

The Kawasaki KLE 500 is a very forgiving bike to ride, would recommend it to any newbies or amateurs who wants a more relax riding posture. Its pulling power is acceptable and could do the Highways all day long without any mechanical hiccups. Have gotten it up to 190km/h a belt with a tailwind. Will pull convincingly till 170km/h before the power tapers off. Guess it has to have a full system, like what Arrow's got for it to bring out its potential. Kawasakis in general are rather sensitive to o ...
