Bad Points: Nothing to speak of.

General comments: Great connectivity. Keyboard. Reliable. Fast. WM.
I use the HTC TyTN II mainly for : - MP3 via Motorola S9 H2DP bluetooth headphones. - Memory Map as I'm into hillwalking. - Email. - Movies. - Sat Nav / TomTom. - Various applications and occassional web browsing. It does them all brilliantly, though I do convert my movies to MP4 first. All these devices have poor battery life if you use Bluetooth, GPS etc, but I get around this by having a battery extender.I don't use the phone that much, so can't really comment on that.

Annoying that I cannot downnload Flashplayer as it keeps telling me that it is not supported by my device. Battery life is a bit naff but a spare charger sorts that out
This is a great little piece of kit, thank you Orange for allowing me to get one without charge. Would have been nice of HTC to use a more standard memory card size.

Hi, my LCD cracked by placing it on carpet. Support stated it won't be warranted, that the LCD cracked from behind. I escalated the issue and HTC won't budge, same song and dance. I literally didn't do anything but put my phone on the floor, pick it up a moment later, tried to use it and found the LCD busted/all scrambled. This is the 2nd LCD from HTC that has cracked on me - each time they blame me instead of recalling the phone due to lack of stability, manufacturer defect, etc. I highly recom ...

Although re-badged TYTN II (T-Mobile MDA Vario II), item is the same.

Connectivity is second to none, i've had the device for 6 months and couldn't live without it. Phone, PDA, Sate Nav, Email - all in one box - brilliant!
Although fiddly to use at first, when you get used to it, it gets easier - not for the faint hearted when setting up all the features. Doesn't seem to be as fast processing as my old ipaq 5550.

Orange HTC TyTN II
5 Nov 2007

Summary
If you're on Orange and want a smartphone then the TyTN II is the premier choice.

Verdict
Alas, the Orange version of the TyTN II isn't the cheapest smart phone in the world - if you want it on a tariff costing less than an eye-watering -55 per month you'll have to shell out at least -90. That's a lot for a slightly different paintjob - on ...

HTC TyTN II review: Kaiser of PocketPCs
5 Nov 2007

Summary
One of the hottest PDAs around lately, the HTC TyTN II is one feature-loaded son-of-a-gun. It's got what it takes to quench your daily communication needs, and more: HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi, 2.8" touchscreen TFT display, hardware QWERTY keyboard...

Nokia N95

Overall the Nokia N95 is a pretty decent phone. Pretty, easy to use, desirable. But I'm pretty fussy when it comes to my phones. I had a Sony W810i before this and its safe to say that that is the best phone I have owned, it was perfect and i thought it would be impossible to beat. That may still be true. Although the N95 is unique and technologically advanced there are still down sides of which the W810i had none. Two partly aesthetic qualities that bug me the most are 1. the slider is...

Nokia N95 8GB
25 Jan 2009

Bought the Nokia N95 from phones4u bout 7 months ago on Vodafone. Generally a great all-rounder smart phone, all features conveniently packed into one matt finish phone. Didnt give me problems until 3 months ago when I installed a couple of maps on it for Nokia Maps. It seems the phone prefers to run smoothly with just the bare essentials when it comes to software. And then came the dreaded "Start-up failed, Contact Retailer'' I used the phone via Data Transfer to upload a couple a pics as...

BlackBerry Storm

Screen quality and overall appeal. Also easy to type once you get used to it. The media sound quality is top notch.

I've had the Storm for 3 days now. I'm already in love with it! I've had the Iphone also. I took it back after having for 1 day. I thought it was over-hyped. Blackberry Storm all the way!

The phone looks quite good on the outside but the insides leave a lot to be desired. Have been a loyal nokia fan for a long time, however after this experience I will not be entertaining a nokia for the foreseeable future.
