Good Points: It looked nice from a distance. The room was clean. The bar staff tried hard.
Bad Points: Terrible customer service team. Full of Russian people who seem to take 10 plates per table, leaving none for others! Don't serve local brandy all inclusive, although it is advertised that they do.
General comments: The Royal Resort Hotel in Goynuk could be a lovely hotel, and they did seem to be trying to renovate a bit, but it's tired and starting to look a little shabby.
The food was boring, removed earlier than advertised, hardly any fruit, and just not enough room for everybody to sit down and eat in the time allotted. The bar at night can get overcrowded, so we went to sit in the reception area with drinks, and though a few of us were sat quietly chatting having a drink, they turn all the lights off at 12 - on a timer they say.
This is the worst experience I have ever had in Turkey, and it is not indicative of the Turkish holiday, and hopefully people going for the first time to Turkey here, will not be put off.
In a word, would I return?... Not if you paid me!!
