I personally do not like this phone. At 3 i get a 300 mix and match plan for 17 pounds a month, thats all i get, no internet or anything but oh well. The image quality is really good on this phone and i cannot fault this feature.
I went to London for 3 days and was continuously using my phone due to work, but silly me forgot my phone charger, and the phone lasted for 3 days and until i got home thankfully! before i brought this phone i should have looked at it more because it is very bulkey...

Over all the phone is a good phone.
It has a good camera and has lots to do.
the battery life is quite good but had better battery life on other phones.
But the bad points are if you have big fingers its hard to use touch screen and then you can use the pen but it is fiddly.
Also the phoen freeze sometimes but only if you click one thing too much if it dosent load then you have to take the battery out and put it back in and turn the phone on again wich can be annoying!

Had the phone a while now. I really don't like this phone. Firstly you don't get told when you have nearly filled up with text messages so when you finish writing a text you can't send it or save in drafts. Also when texting the predictive text is awful, when trying to write the, it puts the, and when you try to write for, you get dmp. These are just really annoying little things though. When buying it there was lots or reviews saying about all the features- after an hour you will be bored... (read more)

I absolutly love this phone! It is by far the best phone I have ever had. I looks amazing, really stylish! But it's not all looks, oh no, the screen quality is really very good and it is very loud so you'll n ever miss a call or aalarm. The touch sscreen is very responsive, exsept for when your on the homepage and you want to look at the sub-menu, it will not respond which can get anoying! After 3 months of havin the phone the screen went black so it had to be sent of for repair, i'm now still having problems as occasionally for hours the touchscreen freezes so i am unable to use the phone. I use my phone for facebook alot, but it seems to crash alot. (read more)

when i first bought this phone 2 days ago i thought it was fantastic and everything worked fine, now the headphones wont work in it and it will not charge unless i sit there holding the charger in place. The camera is very good and i love taking pictures with this phone, not really too keen on texting because its not very sensitive. wouldnt reccomend this phone, but hey your choice :) (read more)

I bought the LG Viewty KU990I phone mainly for the 5 megapixel camera but the pictures are very dissapointing, very grainy and the colours are very wishy washy altogether no better than my last phone which was 1.5 megapixels. The phone itself has a lot of features and the touch screen is quite good. The battery life is very poor lasting just over a day. LG KU990 is a phone with loads of extras however the style and handling of the phone was difficult to handle. i didnt like the touchscreen as it was hard to get into the thing you wanted and the free stick was no use and i ended up using my fingers for it. i got rid of the phone as it was a pain and i now have a simple buttoned phone which i prefer a lot more. the camera is a great up side of having this phone as it is 5mp and got a great quality. if u buy this phone then you have to have... THe LG VIEWTY KU990 was my second LG phone and I am amazed at just how smart it is! It has so much to offer and I especially loved the 5mp camera as it makes pictures noticeably clearer and brighter. Ahhhh, i cant beleave i have a lg viewty. i have wanted this phone for months and now iv finaly got it!!! i got my phone on ebay, brand new for £80 so very very good value for money. there are many alternatave ways to txt, theres the QWERTY keyboard, the normal phone keypad, and then there's the handwriting recognition so theres something for everyone. the handwriting recognition is great as long as you look at the letters in the manual. the screen quality and sensativity is amazing. if you... Just signed up to live mail so I can now read emails on the
LG KU990 Viewty payg. Tesco payg don't do email.
Its very expensive way to do email or web browsing but it works.
It takes several hours to get to grips with the viewty but it;s worth it..........

I love the LG KU990 Viewty phone! The touch screen was one of the things I was worried about, I thought it would be very much a finger tip thing and I would need both hands to text but it's easy to text with thumbs. I think a lot of the criticisms involve people giving up on it too quickly or faulty handsets but, providing the problem isn't a faulty handset it's about getting the settings to your own taste. This LG KU990 Viewty fone is really well made however I have been tearing my hair out over the PC Software. Whenevr I upload music (in every format) it fails. Any that I do get on there though won't display the song, album or art information. Apart from that though this is an great fone. The photo editing is very good with loads of options. (read more)

From all the reviws I read the LG KU990 Viewty appeared to be a fantastic phone. In fact, the phone is great but completely let down by the PC software it is supplied with.
The LG PC Suite is NOT Windows Vista compatible (LG have told me that today) but I cannot get synchronisation to work with Windows XP either. Every time I synchronize with Microsoft Outlook it opens 33 windows in 6 seconds which I cannot close!
So, I have no way of getting my contacts and calendar onto the phone - that...

Cverall i do like the LG KU990 Viewty, i love the camera feature and the picture editor is pretty good. it is quite annoying when things take time to happen, for example loading the camera up, and for your pictures to appear on screen when you want to just view them all. but it is smart and stylish and does pretty much everything you want, although i would recommend using a memory card if you want to store more than a few pictures/music/etc.

Despite having the phone for only a day and a half, it has frozen once, and i can see it happening again! nevertheless, i think this is a really good phone. great picture quality, and i think its easy to use. Its my first LG phone and i'm quite pleased with it. cost me £139 (well, father xmas) which i think is a great price for it. I would recommend this phone to anyone who likes photography, as their are many camera options to fiddle with, but not for people with fat fingers! (read more)

Its very good to buy the LG Viewty among the touch screen mobiles as compared to Nokia 5800 because in LG Viewty to open any kinda applications A Single Click is enough and in Nokia 5800 We're supposed to double click to open any application and the touch sensitivity also is no so good in Nokia 5800. Very Mixed reviews, those giving a thumbs down are usually the ones who don't read the manual. I've had a lot of phones and this ones very impressive. Whats more its a steal at £114 with Tesco Mobile on pay as you go. (read more)

I love this phone...bought it for £99 in a silly sale in Carphone Warehouse, and have loved every minute. I took it to Paris with me recently (with a wrist strap!), and the camera certainly lived up to expectations. There's this great product called 'Phone Shield', which is basically a giant screen protector that goes over the entire phone, and stops it attracting fingerprints, and general rubbish :) the touch screen is not only a novelty, but it makes everything so much quicker!... I can easily operate using our fingers, since the screen is big and no need for pen. The Camera is amazing... It has almost all the features, what a normal camera should have.... I have had this phone for about 6 months now and never had any problems with it. I would recommend this phone to anyone. I have the purple one and I love the colour and my boyfriend has the black version and he has never had any problems with his either.
What I would say is if you have really fat fingers then it's probably not the phone for you.

The LG Viewty is in all a good all round phone with a superb five megpix camera you do have to read the manual to know all the short cuts and understand the phone.. but so many features and touch screen does zonk your battery and you would of thought theyed either supply a spare battery or make the life bigger.. i give it 8/10 ..... read the manual first!!!!! I was excited when I took delivery of the LG Viewty, having been a true Nokia girl for the last 10 years. However I am bitterly disappointed with the battery life (yesterday I had to charge it 3 times within 24 hrs) and I'm now in dispute with the high-street retailer and my mobile service provider to get a replacement Nokia. I love the phone however after some arrogant man pushed past me causing me to the phone fall on the floor, the inner screen smashed creating a black screen minus a illuminous crack. Although I was annoyed with the bloke I was also disappointed that it take a light fall to completely right off the whole phone.
Therefore a conclude that the phone is fab but the not suitable for in the middle of London!!!
