Me and my boyfriend went to Cadbury world and we thoroughly enjoyed it!!! we enjoyed watching all the clips on how it all began and expanded, there was a small part showing packaging etc but who wants to see alot of that anyway!!! we got to see them decorating the chocolate and we loved the essence part where we got to have a pot of chocolate with your own choice of sweet! the only bad thing i have to say is they didnt give out enough of the chocolate! :)

When we got there we was very disappointed because we didnt get a pass to the staff shop. Although it was a great place the chocolate could of be a bit cheaper! It would of been cheaper at a supermarket! Cadbury World was a great day for the kids and for the adults too! I would definitely come back again!

I was really looking forword to Cadbury world in Birmingham but it was the worst attraction I've ever been to. I took my 5 year daughter & my 15 year old niece, both were bored. We didn't see any chocolate being make or packaged. There was loads of video chips about the history of cadburys that you had no choice to watch. There was this part where it said you could make your old chocolate & try & come up with a new taste but it wasn't like tat at all, it was just staff giving out pots of liquid ...

Coming back to Cadbury World, Birmingham after 10 years we thought it may have changed/improved, but we were mistaken, unfortunately. Unless something major happens here, nothing will bring us back, the kids were really disappointed with what they saw.

In 'ESSENCE' you are told you produce your own style of chocolate, all you do is tell the attendant what you want in your cup, eg.. chipped biscuit, marshmellow,etc.., then they add liquid chocolate into the cup and there is your self styled ch ...

Cadbury World is a great day out. Who wouldnt love going to a chocolate factory! You start by learning about the history of chocolate and how Cadbury's started and became the brand we know and love. There's your first bit of free chocolate here, and don't worry it keeps flowing. There's questions to answer and games for the kids to play, although you cant help but getting involved. Cadbury World is a great place, not only for entertaining the kids but keeping them entertained from start to finish ...

Been to Cadbury World, Birmingham, twice now and unfortunately it is getting more commercialised and you feel you are not seeing as much as you did in the earlier days.
It is very hit and miss if you get to see the chocolate being made and I am guessing it depends on how busy the parties are, how large the groups etc.
You are virtually forced to stand and watch the presentations and films with the doors automatically opening to let you through to the next area after the showing.
    The first time I ...

Cadbury world! such a disappointment, I am utterly gutted for wasting 26 pound and a day of our holidays on this waste of time! I found it very expensive for what we got! Too many lines, too much reading and film which bored the brains out of many small children and encouraged them to irritate others by screaming or running around in circles. The free chocolate was a highlight although the fact that we never saw anything being made or packaged was a huge disappointment! I would not recommend tha ...

I last went when I was 5 and I thought it was fun but I went again and now I am 15 and I was bored stiff from beginning on.
Not only were some facilities out of order, there wasn't even my favourite type of chocolate in the shops (white chocolate)
My mum promised me that I don't need to go there any more.
I think its good for small kids but only like 1-5 years

Even though we'd booked a time slot for the tour we still had to queue for ages... Booking was a total waste of time. The whole tour is basically a huge Cadbury's advert...The rides are only suitable for very small children.

I was in birmingham with my girlfriend and 4 friends. my girlfriend is a chocoholic, but even she was bored out of her mind at Cadbury World.

The shop did not stock the entire cadbury range - i've seen a wider variety of cadbury's chocolates in supermarkets in south africa.

there's a corny "ride through cadbury-ville" where polystyrene chocolate drops in various stages of decay, play.

i'd rather buy 8 pounds worth of chocolates than go on another cadburyworld experience ...

We visited Cadbury World on Mothers Day 2002 and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
The attraction consists of a tour (including a section of the factory packing department), outdoor activity/play area (hidden around the back of the factory) and a 'automaton theatre experience'.
I would definitely recommend booking in advance-no deposit is required and it saves any delays when you arrive (we would have had to wait aprox. 2 hours if we had not booked in advance).
