“Extremely poor customer service”

I have purchased from this company several times and postage has always been slow, but the last time it took two months which was ridiculous.. I can understand they have no control over the postal service it was there attitude, emails were not responded to straight away and they offered absolutely no compensation to me at all not even a gesture. It took so long they final put in a claim in to Australia Post and then told me it could take another 7 -10 days to get a response from the postal service in the meantime I purchased some of the same items thinking I would be getting a refund. Later on that week the lost packaged arrived I emailed the company to let them know and that I wasn't happy as now I have double some of the items.Do you think they offered me some discount? I don't think so, very poor customer service. I would not recommend them.

“It's okay”

I'm from Germany and I ordered two times in Beauty bay. First time it was ne naked Palette 1 for me and my friend. As I red about the bad experiences with Beauty bay I thought it would never arrived but it does after 7 days!!! The Second time I ordered the babybliss Pro and got a teezer. I wrote a Email to the Customer Services and got an answer after some days. In this time I called the Customer Service in the UK (will be expansive) and they told me something different. So now I don't know what to do and I'm angry now...

“bad communication”

I would say if u dont live in the uk then expect the delivery to be very long. They stated that it would take 5-7 days for international shipping but mind you it takes 1-2 days for dispatch then it had to wait for custom plus travelling by airplain, truck etc and minus the weekends. The order has to go through alot of places before it reaches you. If you lucky you get it + the waiting time around few weeks if you not lucky the order is lost and beautybay programmed the system to reply to your needs so you cant get a real person helping you. I just have to wait for over 2 weeks to see my order. This site is a game of luck so if you have patience then go with it if you dont then becareful cos you wont be able to get a refund or replacement cos they stated of parcel is lost its not their responsibilty. Goodluck

“So far so great!”

I've ordered off beauty bay before and had no problems other than the fact my package arrived late a week or two. Otherwise, my products were beautifully packaged complete with foam padding in the box! My makeup was all packaged seperately in the box in little bags or thick plastic with, both with the logo on them. I've just ordered from there again and found myself looking up reviews, and came across all these horrible reviews! Will keep you guys posted on how this time goes! Fingers crossed!

“Be very wary”

I received my goods promptly in Australia and they were very well priced compared with other sites, however, one week afer placing my order my credit card, which I used for the transaction was used fraudulently in the UK. I have not ordered anything from the UK for years, so found this quite interesting. The bank picked up the fraudulent transaction and so the money was repaid into my account and I had to get a new credit card etc. I can't say it was definintely someone working at BB but it has put me off using them again, especially after reading other reviews.

“Happy with the Customer Service”

I ordered some hair straighteners, which the website indicated would be in stock in 2 days. Alas, I checked this morning and still awaiting stock. My need for replacement hair straighteners was great due to my previous ones being now completely broken, so I phoned them up to cancel my order. I was dealt with very swiftly, no questions asked. I requested a confirmation email, which was also sent very swiftly. So I didn't actually receive an order, but was happy with the customer service I received over the phone.

“It has now been a month since I placed my order, and...”

It has now been a month since I placed my order, and it still has not arrived. They continue to blame generic international shipping issues, but I've received two other international/UK order (shipping to the US) in the last month with absolutely no problem - as a matter of fact both arrived in just under a week, from two different sources. They can't provide me with a tracking number, and still want me to wait. Right now I'm fighting for a refund, as I have little hope the product will ever arrive.

I bought two products from the website after being enticed by their offer of two free products with the purchase of two. However to my disappointment, when the package came, in it was only the products that i've paid for. Although i checked the website again, and the offer is finished, I am sure the offer was on when i bought it. I think that they should update their website often enough so that people are not misled.

I am so worried about my order I placed with Beautybay after reading the bad reviews on here, I know I will get my money back as I placed my order through Paypal, I will be so upset and annoyed if it does not turn up as I have used this site to order most of my daughters Christmas presents, she is a make up artist and adores Anastasia, Zoeva etc. I spent roughly £90 and got free delivery as I spent over £15 on the site. I normally check out reviews for companies I have not used before but my daughter told me this was a good site so I just ordered, I now have serious doubts, my account on the site shows that my order has been shipped, I am not going to email them as it seems pointless going by reviews on here, I placed my order on 9th December so I know it's only 5 days ago but I am worried, also I am unsure if this company is in the UK? Can someone please advise me? Thanks

hi, you poor thing you must be so worried... Beauty Bay are quite weird they are either really good or really bad! I had a similar thing happen and i just plagued the life out of them, left messages on their facebook page for everyone to see, sent emails and telephoned them until someone answered. The telephone is what worked and when a member of staff did eventually answer she was so helpful and everything got sorted out very quickly. The other thing i might consider if i was you is to tell them if you don't have a resolution from them you will be left with no alternative but to open a paypal dispute, this might just poke them into action. I really hope this helps and that you get it sorted out very soon :)

Hi! They are 100% genuine. I've placed several orders with them and always been very happy. I first heard about them about 18 months ago - they were running a TV advert that featured overnight on ITV. I was wary too at the time (having never heard of them before) but it turned out to be nothing to worry about. If you're really concerned just pay via paypal where you're more protected if you have any problems (which I strongly doubt you will). There are some bargains on there - have a quick google for voucher/cashback offers before you pay though. I've managed to get an extra 20% off coupon before! Go for it xxx
