This was my second guitar and I will definitely NEVER sell it. It sounds and looks amazing, it is much better than any other mexican made strat i've ever played.
The neck is my favorite part, it is fast but still feels significant in your hand.
Tex-Mex pups are actually really good sounding, which suprised me. They're probably a mix between Texas Specials and the '54's, very vintage-sounding and twangy, sound amazing through a tubescream and clean.

I play it through my Marshall JCM 800 2203 100w head and it's the perfect match. Both clean and distorted.... (read more)

An American Stratocaster for Mexican money.
Alder body, maple neck and fretboard, tex-mex pick ups.
The build quality and finish of these anniversary models is exceptional nothing like the usual Mexican made ones.
This guitar has been extensively reviewed at harmony-central and highly praised. If you're quick you might still find a new one for around £350, worth every penny. Get one.
