Bad Points: Nothing really so far, except I'm rather nervous about Dell's Customer support, should I need it (had poor experience of this for a Dell printer in the past).
General comments: Excellent machine - very quick, fantastic display (despite my doubts, 13.3" really is enough), very light, well made.
Neat touches include the media remote, the slot loading DVD and the Wi-fi network locator.
Despite initial qualms, Vista runs beautifully on this machine, with a very fast boot-up / power down (much faster than my quad-core XP Pro based desktop) and very stable.
A great machine for a very reasonable price.
It really hits the 'sweet-spot' in terms of its size / weight and feature-set - it even looks good too.

overall I would say for a gaming laptop, the money you pay you get good value for. Especially if you do not plan to take this laptop far from home. If you travel alot like me, then do your research and go for something more portable.

I can recommend the product, but not the Dell support, although they did eventually replace the motherboard, and then the screen after a 2 week wait and about 10 hours on the phone! The phone call is toll free, but my time isn't!

Dell have done well here I think, great design and different, which is good. Materials are great in areas, although not entirly sure about the quality of the plastics used. I wish the key board was little better, and I think time will tell how good the build quality is here. My M1330 laptop has no problems apart from one odd key seems to rub a little with the next. The only concern I have with the lcd is a little flex at the bottom between the hinges, but only when open. All in all little probl ...

I waited a month to get this unit and in one week it developed a problem with the screen that made the unit totally unusable. I waited another two weeks for the replacement unit from Dell. This one had the access screws, on the WWAN card compartment, totally stripped. I could not transfer my WWAN card to the new unit. I have had this unit for two months and have not been able to really get any use out of it.
Oh yeah, Vista really sucks too.

For less than £900 you have a very powerful laptop in the Dell XPS M1330 that would even keep the mobile gamers happy.
