Beautiful boys, good music, good space, good room in toilets. A great bar.

The Faversham is host to various genres of music, depending on which night you go. I've been a few times when there have been a mix of quality live indie bands (the venue has been host to the likes of Nine Black Alps and The Cribs), but there are also Hip-Hop nights and such like. When there's no bands there is usually a mix of good, quality rock'n'roll, indie and tunes to generally shake your thang to.
Drinks are pretty pricey, also on busy nights it can be difficult to get served as the bar is packed. The Fav is pretty much smack bang in the middle of Leeds University so as you can imagine, most of the clientele are students. The venue itself is fairly spacious with a few seating areas and a good dancefloor but as I mentioned, it does get busy. Decor is pretty low key, ie not cheesy. It is also a nice place to hang out on a sunday as they do a roast for around a fiver (obviously aimed at the student market) and it's not usually as busy.
Overall, Faversham is a decent venue, somewhere between a pub and a bar. Nicely tucked away from all the carnage of the trashy clubs and the snobbery of the swanky bars in the town centre; basically if you haven't heard of it, you probably won't find it as there's nothing else around other than University buildings. This in turn is what sets it apart, and while it isn't the most clubby of places, it's certainly one of the more popular amongst students.
