We bought one of these from Go Outdoors a few weeks ago and on the first time of using the underneath caught fire. The plastic base and even the burner melted and we had to throw water over it to put the fire out. In my option this cooker is dangerous and should not be on sale. I have yet to receive explanation from Go Outdoors.

The Camping Gaz Bistro is very efficient, and gives out a massive blast of heat for stirfries and things like that. Very easy to use. The instructions could be a little clearer! Excellent.

Unlike most stoves this one is of a "flat" design and the gas canister sits by the side of it in a seperate compartment, this means that the canister can be changed easily if it runs out mid-brew up and it has a safety interlock to prevent a full one being inserted with the gas control on.
It comes in a carry case which is handy but the plastic on this does seem a bit thin. In a weeks camping for the two of us we got through 2 cylinders which did our A.M./P.M. brew and evening meal. The best price I have seen for gas is from Argos bought in a bulk box containing 12 canisters for £14.99 which works out at about £1.25 per can which is much cheaper than buying singly.
The design of the burner and pan support is very solid and stable having a lower C.O.G." than most stoves and should take quite big/heavy pans ETC. I got mine on ebay but while on HOLS" I saw one in a camping shop for £9.99 and at this kind of price that really is a good buy.
