I brought Maybelline Define-A-Lash from ebay for £2.99 so I wasn't too going to be too bothered if it was promising or not for the price! I've tried many mascaras before, which don't actually do anything to your eyelashes but clump and leave them looking dry, and some which have even irritated my eyes (itching, falling out) etc! But this is exactly as advertised in my opinion, the first time I applied it I was very pleased.. The brush gets every possible lash as it is ultra thin and well shaped. I felt I didn't need to use coat after coat to get the long eyelash effected lift, and I will definatley buy this again, even for the orgininal price! It's worth wasting loads of money on ones that don't work and having to replace them all the time!

Good value for money lasts a long time, seperates, defines and lengthens lashed but dosen't make them look too thick. Perfect.

THIS MASCARA IS AMAZING! Best one i have EVER used and i have used alot. My lashes are long, defined, and there appears to be 20 times more than what there is. It makes my lashes so good they almost touch my eyebrows.Cannot fault this mascara at all despite finding the waterproof one very difficult to remove.

I liked the mascara and the price was reasonable too. Lives up to the advertising, lashes looked good. Shame about the brush though. The 'ultra flexible' wand is too 'flexible' and makes this a dirty product to use. You have to grip the top of the brush itself and push to re-insert the wand, resulting in messy fingers.

The mascara looks nice and all the hype it was initially given made me think 'wow! a wonder mascara!' How wrong was I? This mascara does not work for me. It does separate my lashes but I think you'd get pretty much the same effect using a decent clear mascara. I am disappointed.

I really recommended Maybelline for their high quality make-up but after I brought this new define-A-lash mascara I'm not so sure. I found it a little to watery and it didn't really give me much of a voluptuous look to my lashes.
I did notice that when I went to put the mascara on it did clump up a bit.
So at the moment I'm lovin Max Factor.

I was pretty disappointed with this mascara - I'd have expected better from Maybelline. I thought it was too thin, the clump free brush didn't really work, and it certainly isn't what I look for in a mascara (long, lush lashes).

This mascara did an okay job overall. It wasn't completely clump-free, but most of the time it worked well. The awful undereye blackening I've experienced every time I try to take it off is enough to turn me off of this mascara.

I absolutely love this mascara! Its the best I've ever had. I am one to use a lot of different mascaras. But this is by far my favorite. I didn't have to keep using coat after coat to get my desired look i only used two coats and i got the look i wanted. I was so pleased with this. The unique brush is amazing it even moves to get those small lashes. This is an amazing mascara i recommend it to anyone.

After seeing Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara on TV, I was almost running to the store at the same time to buy it.

Long lashes, no clumps, new type of brush...I couldn't wait to give it a go.
Once I got home and used it the next day, my disappointment could not be any more. What a waste of money!

OK. I will be honest, it does give you separated lashes, and yes they will be 'long', but the brush is a pain in the behind to put it on your lashes.
    Only after 3 to 4 layers I would have the r ...

I didn't really like this mascara, despite its promises. I was really disappointed with it.

Firstly it didn't make my lashes longer at all, and it did clump despite it saying that it was 'clump free'. Also the wand was easy to use but I still didn't get the results I was hoping for.

Maybelline do make great mascaras, but this one isn't their best I'm afraid

I saw the adverts for this mascara and thought I'd give it a go since I hate clumpy mascara. It does what it says - there aren't any clumps.
I find the wand a little funny because it's green underneath the coat of mascara. It is flexible and allows for good coverage on your lashes, but it does not go on very thickly. This doesn't bother me since I don't coat my lashes.
I haven't noticed that it makes your lashes appear longer since I already have fairly long lashes, but it does seem to m ...

Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara is OK, but not the best I've tried. The wand bends in order to get separated, sensuously long lashes and no clumps (as stated).
I agree that the lashes are longer and you get no clumps, but what really puts me off this mascara is it takes ages to get a decent application, and after a while the wand tends to scrape the mascara off your lashes rather than applying it; maybe that's why it takes so long!?

I recommend this product to anyone who just likes a very l ...
