The JVC XV-FA90 is a very good high end dvd player during it's time many users who were disappointed received lemon versions. I bought mine from a high end electronic store and it's been trouble free well constructed product. The negative reviews are from non audio/videophiles who may have received lemons. My JVC XV-FA90 DVD player broke after less than a week. The repair facility still receives faulty components from JVC after 2 months they fight to repair it.
JVC will not do anything about it. The people in charge are always "out of the office" and they never return calls.
No value for a lot of money.
    DO NOT BUY....
