the rides were really good and kids enjoyed it BUT....dirty! filthy! rotten! unhygenic!toiets poo on them dirty tissues on the floor hair and dirt all over the floor and in the changing rooms,showers cold and all over the floor empty bottles of shampoo ect a health hazzard went home and had showers.27.00pound for afamily which included a 1.00pound charge to use my card!!!!!lots of people complaining how disgusting it was (read more)

Visited this place today, its run by unprofessional teenagers. The changing rooms are DIRTY! The whole place, including the pool area is in need of a good scrub and revamp. Showers were a joke, most of them hardly worked properly. I didnt bother using the toilets, rather hold my bursting bladder than use the facilities at Aquasplash, ever again. Took the kids today for a last treat before returning to school. Arrived at 2pm when it supposedly opens to have to wait for 15 mins for no reason at all. Not bad price wise to get in however the facilities are diabolical! Incredibly annoyed that I travelled 35 miles to get there And 2 of the most impressive rides were shut for no reason or explanation. Having been to center parcs and seen the cleanliness of their water rides etc I feel there is no excuse for the management of aqua splash... (read more)

Checked website before we left home. Children still on holiday. Website times page did not say Aquasplash had changed to Term Timetable. Pool was shut when we arrived. Very unhelpful receptionist said website was 'nothing to do with us'. Two other family groups arrived same time as us to be turned away. They had also looked on website. I have been too aqua splash a few times in the last five years or so. The changing rooms aren't great but with the amount of people I can see why they can be dirty. The Lazy River is quite fun and with the tyre slide it makes it better however there isn't enough tyres so you wait for a little while, you also have to try and resist the current from the lazy river. The only problem with the lazy river is there are too many people, a lot of people try to swim backwards or cut through everyone... (read more)

I drove from London expecting this place to be enjoyable for my 11 year old daughter. we first went Ice Skating, which it wasnt to bad, but then there was brown water dropping from the ceilling. There was a small burger and hotdogs booth, which didnt look edible, basically it was kids working in this part although they were friendly, but I believe an Adult needed to be there. Lovely place, clean, warm, my 3 kids of 1, 5 and 8 say it is the best they have been to, the smiles were endless. The only problem I had is The price I think they should consider a family price of 2 adults and 3 kids as most have more than 2 these days it's £25 for a family of 4. Also my sons arm band got a hole and I had to pay a rediculous price £7!!!!! For some armbands....... Was not happy about that. The people that work there need to smile..... aqua splash on the whole is a great family fun place, its kept quite clean, i can see the lifeguards do alot of cleaning when they aren't on poolside! however when they are, i saw one lifeguard on poolside for 4 hours atleast! i cut my foot and it took 20 minutes for a manager to come out who looked very unimpressed to clean me up! once back up and running i couuld enjoy all slides and features again however one complaint i would make is one lifeguard who was about 30 and of asian descent... Well..... let me list all the awful things about it: 1. When we walked in the Aquasplash (near reception) there was a cleap sign saying that it wasn't allowed to wear outdoor shoes. It said that people should wear shoe covers. Guess what...... people ignored that sign leaving mud from outside all over the place. The staff didn't even care! 2. I am very happy with the standards of the pools. I am a 16 year old girl and went with my friends who are also 16. We loved every minute of it, we spent 3 hours there. We drove there from Westminster for a 3rd Birthday party with the whole family coming from around the London area. We gave the children an early lunch at Pizza Hut next door. If you time it to go from lunchtime 12 till 3pm then you avoid the crowds. The little ones loved the baby pool and the lazy river (holding onto Mummy). Upon arrival we payed £25 for a family of four which i thought was pretty steep, but wouldnt have minded if the visit had been a good experience. It was not! In the changing rooms i was disgusted by the state of the place. Filthy floors, disguarded soiled nappies, and a putrid stench of urine hanging in the air! Me and my Boyfriend decided to go Aquasplash as he lives in nearby Watford. It looks O.K from outside, BUT once in, the staff didn't seem to care, changing rooms were smelly with chewing gum stuck all over the doors and it had disgusting dirty floors. Toilets were ALL overflowing, unflushed with urine on the floor. Visited with the family put off by the fact you had to pay an extra pound to use your debit card. Changing rooms smelt like a toilet and the toilets smelt even WORSE! Hair and plasters on the floor. Good pool ques were average, the changing rooms let the whole place down. The water was very cold when we got in. The staff were nice. The changing rooms were freezing when you got out. We went to aqua splash expecting a nice day out, instead we got the day from hell. We went as a small group including 2 22yr olds, 9 year old and a 10year old. Warning: I travelled 15 miles with 2 boys one 18 months and other one five year old. Car parking was good, tickets were very expensive and they charged me £1 extra for paying by debit card not credit card, staff average, cleanliness average, pool water very cold both my sons were shivering, no rides like mini slides for 2 year olds, in shower water was very hot even for me. We went there because our son wanted to go for a swim and remembered the slides from a party he was invited to some time ago. To be honest the pools and facilities in and around them are OK, and fun to use.
The only things that put me off going ther again were:

Heating is always a problem, the changing area and the pool! Staff are to busy talking or messing about the waiting times for the rides get longer and longer! I visited Aqua Splash this weekend with a group of friends (we are all over 21) and we all had a lot of fun. I highly recommend this as a family afternoon out but be prepared to put up with terrible customer service and poor facilites :)
However, the venue needs some serious maintenance work:
*The changing rooms are DISGUSTING and really need a deep clean. Flip flops are a must.

Good, bad, but always something wrong with it. 3 times, the heating wasn't working in the pool or showers. Another, rapid's were broken. Once again, the big slides were broken and once, they really made me mad. ALL of the flumes (not the rapid's or the steep slide)were BROKEN! I loved the rapids they were really fun and i also loved the other slides , thats the spacebowl one, and then just two normal flume type things, but i have to say there is this one 'ride' i suppose you would call it where you sit on a rubber ring and go down along flat surface and water pushes you down. however i found the queing for the ride awful as you are half in the water, you have to wait ages for a rubber ring to come round... I have to be honest I have been there twice this month and the kids love it, they are 10, 9 and 6 years old. The place need to be renovated, it looks tired, worn and needs a good clean. The first time I went to aquasplash last week the queues were long especially a simple ring float ride just because they don't provide enough ring floats, I went on it twice but had to wait 20 minutes each time. Aquasplash is a brill place to go with your friends and family. Space bowl is the best ride but i would'nt reccomend going on it if you can't swim !! Found this place whilst looking for Aquasplash in Lignano, Italy. What a find! Bargain at little more than the cost of my local pool. Two of the rides are stupendously fast and although the water complex is small there is a "river" so you are able to swim a fair bit. Easy free parking and a leisure complex in the same building where you can get something to eat and even a beer. I recommend it to the house. Woof! Woof! (read more)

I highly recommend getting fast track tickets because the ques are very long. super bowl was my highlight of the day because of the thrill and excitement. al the rides were fab and there are very good services. Hot water in showers not working, only cold water
Water temperature down to 27. Its winter !
Endless slow que to get on any ride
Usual brush off excuses from reception staff, this happens every week.
I won't be going there again, enough is enough. I found a lovely family adventure pool just up the road in Amersham. Not as many rides...

It is suited for all ages a great day out for the whole family and your bound to go back again. The price is brilliant concidering what aqua splash consists of. I enjoyed the last time i went as all rides were open which made the experiance even more exciting, also it seemed the power of the water rides were turned up.Overall the whole place is excellant and i would recomend it to anyone. Good points of aquasplash:
ALL of the rides are enjoyable. They all but one can be used for all ages.
There is Space Bowl : A Super fast flume that has a bowl at the end which you go round on and drop .
Is the best .
The price is very good as you can be there as long as you wish.
There is plenty of seats at the side and there is a burger kind to sort your hunger needs.
Bad points :
One time I went they had a 'heating' defect and the water was harshly cold. Me and my sisters had...

Aqua Splash, you go the once you'll be going there occasinally it's so fun the slides are for all ages lazy river with a hidden jacuzzi adn fountin at the back were on people swimming can see. The only negative point i have to make is that the space bowl is not reccommend personally to children under the age of 9 un less they are really good swimmers.Other then that its a blast and a great place to take the kids to kill there boredom x have a great time. Aquasplash is a great place for children of all ages, there are lots of different slides and the lazy river is great fun. The price is reasonable and although its packed in the holidays its def worth a visit. I have been to aquaspalsh loads of times with my dad and we love the rides espically the multi slide where you get to slide down togheter. I like the super flume and the drag race it goes so fast and feels like your going out of control.
Although we did notice that the changing rooms were a bit dirty in places and the bin's were overflowing. Also we went during school holdiays and they had the music so loud we couldnt talk to each other. Also gernrally it is very crowded and the lazy river...
