Just a rubbish phone for what you pay for it. Screen rarely works, easy to exit out of messages and phone calls because of the touch screen. Overall just a bad phone!

Well I brought the Samsung U700 a couple of weeks ago, previously having had the Samsung E900 I liked the touch screen buttons unlike most people I Know, however the Vodafone software on the phone I awful and you will need to get it flashed or it will drive you insane!! Then there is the battery life!! e.g. I charged mine up last night, took it off charge in the morning with the display saying "Battery full" then turned it on about 8:30am by 1:00pm "battery low" was flashing and by 1:30pm it was ...

Where to start. After a couple of months the Silver edges have chipped away, wear and tear shows very early on the Samung U700. The battery life is really bad as well. Other comments have said that the camera is good but I cant even say that, maybe its just me but my old phone (Sony Ericsson K800i) had a much better camera. The touch screen buttons are appalling, you end up sending text you dont want to and deleting texts your half way through! They dont respond when you need them to, pressing b ...

Stay away from Vodafone, buy the Samsung U700 privately if you can.

I love and hate this phone! Beautiful, fantastic 3G speed and superb camera/video but battery is appalling(charge twice a day!) And way over priced. I have a week to decide whether to keep it or not, I just don't know. Buyer beware at £250.

A good looking, slim phone that unfortunately values style over substance. I have only had my Samsung U700 for three weeks but, despite taking very good care of it, it is already showing signs of wear. The touch keys are an unnecessary and infuriating gimmick and poor battery performance put the nail in the coffin.
It is a shame as with a bit more thought it could have been a very good phone.
